I got a handful from Ally since I went home late and asked for a lot of explanations. Everything happened, from the nurse's office to Aphrodite's breakup to bringing her to the secret hangout spot to bringing her home, I told the girls. Toni was not around since she needed to rest properly for her game.

As of right now, I was stuck watching on the bleachers because of my injury.

"Damn, I forgot that we got an actual examination today", I sighed. "But lucky enough, I got good vitals that the teacher made me exempted except for the written test" I sighed deeply.

Since I was not doing physical activities, I decided to wear my glasses. I've been getting a lot of stares because of wearing one. The last time I wore it was back when Aphrodite hit me in the face. I guess it's been more than 2 weeks?

"It sucks that you have to sit in the bleachers, eh?" I heard Rose saying as she wiped a towel in her face. I rolled my eyes.

"Your lucky it's your left. If it's the other, you can't write," she said, pointing my wrist wrap.

"I'm ambidextrous, so no need to worry," I said with a grin.

It was lunchtime, and we got to the cafeteria. Cathy was kind enough to place the foods that I wanted to eat on my platter. As we sat at the table, I could see Aphrodite was sitting with her teammates and not her boyfriend.

"Well, that's new. Aphrodite sitting with her teammates," I heard the guy say.

"You haven't heard the news? Geoffrey cheated on her. There were some rumours that he and Helen were spotted kissing in an empty hallway," another guy said as both of them passed towards us.

"It will be the talk for a week since they're a couple of the school", Rose emphasized on the couple.

Not from far, I could see Geoffrey marching towards Aphrodite's direction. He was explaining himself, but knowing that she saw everything, she just completely ignored him, making his blood boil.

"He's really toxic", Ally snided.

Almost everyone was looking at them, but I didn't bother watching and just ate my lunch. Not for long, I felt someone walking in my direction and pushed my food on the side. Okay, that's totally rude.

"Didn't your mother taught you not to waste food?" I asked as I looked at the culprit.

If looks could kill, I've been already dead with the stares that Geoffrey has been giving me.

"What did you do to her?!" He yelled.

"You're too loud. Sheesh! I'm not deaf," I said, standing up. We had a staredown, and I heard Aphrodite calling me not to take his calls. "If you think I'll back out just because your the star quarterback, think again. I could easily snap your legs if I wanted to, but I'm a civilised person" I glared at him. "As for your question, I just took her home, idiot! I'm not that dense not to comfort people who are crying because they were cheated on" I pushed his chest hard. "Don't blame me for your mistakes when it's basically your fault," I said clearly enough for everyone to hear. Then I went closer to his ear and whispered, "if you do anything funny towards her, I won't hesitate to dirty my hands. Remember that". I could feel myself slipping out, but I took a tight grip on my left hand.

I stepped back and took my bag. Aphrodite was calling for me as I walked out of the cafeteria. I didn't bother to look behind and just walked at a fast pace. When I got in the comfort room, I dropped my bag and washed my face. Fuck, I want to end this day. All of a sudden, I heard the door barged open, and Aphrodite was catching her breath.

"You're damn fast," she said as she controlled her breath. It took her a couple of seconds, and I already dried myself when she talked. "I'm sorry about earlier," she said as she walked towards me, close enough that I didn't need my glasses to see her. "You shouldn't have been involved earlier with our fight, but he tends to throw his faults to other people to blame", she sighed.
