Sam's POV

The alarm sounded off, and I woke up from my slumber. I looked around, and everyone was still cuddling with each other. I slowly made my way out of the bed, not wanting to wake up the girls. Then I proceeded to my bathroom, doing my daily routine before going for a workout. I looked at the bed once again, and they were still sleeping. As I opened the door, I heard someone shuffling around the bed.

"Hey, where are you going?" Ally asked as she rubbed her eyes, fighting the sleep on her body.

"I'll be downstairs at the home gym to work out," I said with a smile. "Go get some sleep. When I'm done, I'll wake you guys up for breakfast," I added. She seemed to understand what time it was still and nodded her head. Closing the door, I saw her figure lying back on the bed.

Walking downstairs, I could hear someone talking over the phone. It was Rin.

"Yes, I understand the consequences. I know, and I promise you I will be liable if anything happens," she said. When she turned around and saw me, she finished her call.

"Hey, Mom, who was that?" I asked.

"Ally's parents," she said, giving me a thin smile.

"Was there a problem?" She shook her head.

"Parents being themselves. Worrying about their children," she smiled. "Are you going to the gym?" she asked.

"Yeah, you know how I love to keep in shape," I grinned.

"Yeah, yeah," she rolled her eyes. "Your hydro flask is in the kitchen, and I already made your drink. I'll be heading back to my room to get ready for work," she said, kissing my cheek.

"Isn't it too early?"

"I got a lot of meetings today and with regard to the company. What do you think?" she asked with a serious look.

"Can you still give time?" I asked. She raised her eyebrows, implying further explanations. "Well, I still got my senior year coming around," I said, scratching my head.

"Okay. But this time, you gotta earn your keep," she said, folding her arms. "You'll be working for me at the office. I know grandma taught you a lot back there, and this time you gotta apply them," she explained further.

"And when will that be?" I asked.

"I'll probably call you when it's important. I know how you hate meetings, but I know you'll get to that sometime soon. Got that?" she pointed at me. I nodded. Then, she went upstairs so that she could prepare like what she said earlier.

I went to the home gym and started working out as I got my earphones and hydro flask ready.

I was emptying my hydro flask when I felt someone coming towards me. I immediately grabbed the hand and pinned it down to the floor.

"Ow! Ow! Ow!" Toni shouted as she tapped my arms in submission. I quickly removed my hands and helped her stand up.

"Man, I wasn't expecting that," she groaned as she was holding her hand.

"Sorry about that. Reflexes," I said with a deep sigh.

"That's what you get for disturbing Sam on her workout," I heard Ally chuckle. Toni immediately gave her an annoying smile.

"Well, good morning to you there, Ally. How's your voice box from all that shouting?" Tony grinned. Ally glared at her and walked out.

"Does that count?" she asked. I just shook my head.

"Why are you here so early?" I asked as I closed the lid of my container.

"I was on my way to school for practice when the captain canceled it at the last minute," she rolled her eyes. I chuckled at her.
