Aphrodite's POV
We were lying in bed and decided to watch Stranger Things 2. When I thought I was already off the hook, Hailey got in front of me, pausing the movie.
"Okay, let's get things straight" she paused. "How many times did you almost kiss her?" she held my hands. I groaned.
"Do we really need to talk about that?" she slowly nodded.
"Twice," I said.
"And she mostly initiated?" I nodded. "I feel like she has the hots for you", she grinned. I snorted.
"No, she doesn't", I quickly denied. I heard her hum.
"She already took you home. Let you sleep on her bed and even use her clothes. Also! Defended you from your boyfriend even though you barely knew each other. Tell me, do friends really do that?"
"Yeah?" I answered more like a question. "She happened to see it first", I pointed out. Then I remember when they first confronted. She even took me to her special place.
"Other things to share?" she smirked.
"I was brokenhearted at the time that I even asked her to take me somewhere else," I said in a small voice.
"You what?!" she asked in surprise.
"I'm not gonna repeat it," I said as I wrapped the covers around myself. Hailey tried to take the covers from me, but I had a strong grip on it. "Just leave me alone. I want some sleep," I said, and later on, I felt the weight moved. She must've finally let me go. I sighed in relief and let my body relax until my eyelids fell heavy, letting myself succumb to darkness.

"Hailey, I don't care that I'll be driving you home, just I don't want to drink. The hangover last night was enough for me," I said as I politely declined her offer. She huffed and rolled her eyes.
"Relax! It's Friday night. Try to relax. If you're not gonna drink this beer, just drink this soda," she said, pushing the can of Coke at my hand.
"Okay fine. But I'm driving, and I don't want to ride one of your trip-to-hell drives whenever you got drunk," I said, grabbing the keys from her hand.
"Yeah yeah," she said as she drank from her bottle of beer.
I immediately heard roars of cheering coming from the other side of the house. I told Hailey that to call me whenever she feels to go home before leaving her to check what was happening. My eyes went wide in surprise to see Sam holding a bottle of vodka. Wait, did she just finished the whole bottle? I quickly grabbed my phone and looked for my contacts. I was waiting patiently for to someone pick up the phone.
"Hello?" I heard Toni's groggy voice over the phone.
"Toni? Is Ally with you?" I could hear some shuffle on the bed and heard her walking.
"No. She has already gone home. Why'd you call?"
"Does she know that Sam is at Cassey's party?" I heard her cuss over the phone.
"Wait. Is she drinking?" she asked with quite worrying. I turned to see her walking towards the kitchen.
"She was chugging a bottle of vodka earlier", I sighed.
"Shit. Could you please look out for her? I can't drive there because my shoulder is still sore," she said. I nodded, and I remembered she can't see me.
"Okay" I followed Sam to the kitchen.
"Just keep her from the other girls, especially that snake," I noticed that someone was giving her a drink. Wait, is that... shit! I quickly made my way towards them and accidentally bumped into her. Good thing she was already drunk that her hand slipped on the cup that was given to her.
