Chapter 23: The Party

The school was flooding with students and teachers. The front and back yard were covered in Halloween decorations, with Jack o' lanterns, fake coffins and tombstones, vampire and zombie puppets made of plastic, and fame webs and blood all over the trees and grass. There was a huge Halloween banner saying "Happy Horror night!!!"

Eren: Wow, the school is amazing! The student council really worked hard to organize and decorate all this! - he said, enthusiastically.

Connie: Those fake vampires are awesome.

Armin was trembling: not just because Halloween genuinely scared him, but also because he was so introverted that he strongly disliked parties and huge crowds. Because of this, he was a nervous wreck.

The girls, on the other side, were all so excited to celebrate and have fun with their friends.

Ymir: Let's just get inside, y'all, I'm freezing out here, dammit!

Sasha: I wonder if there's a buffet with all the delicious Halloween candy and food!

The others girls rolled their eyes.

Historia: Hey Annie, you seem to be turning pale right now.

Annie: No worries, I'm just allergic to social interactions.

Historia giggled a little bit.

A few moments later, Reiner and Bertholt came up to them.

Ymir: Oh God, here comes the Hog and that dumbass of his wingman.

Sasha: If Reiner touches me, I'll kick him in the knees.

Reiner came up to them, all confident and non-chalant.

Reiner: So, hey girls, are you excited for the party?

Ymir: Yeah, but we'd me more excited if you weren't here.

Sasha: Agreed.

Bertholt was just standing there, in silence.

Reiner: C'mon girls, no need to be mean. I'll be nice tonight.

Sasha: Sure but don't follow us everywhere we go, okay?

Reiner: Sure. Nice costumes by the way.

Sasha: Whatever.

Then he went up to Historia, who was so small comparing to him, and he wrapped his arm around her, clearly flirting with her.

Reiner: So, Historia, you looking good. I dig the costume.

Historia's dress wasn't just cute, but it was also quite revealing, because she wore a short skirt, over her knees, and her chest was barely covered, which is why she brought a coat with her.

Historia: Um, thanks but can you get off me?

Reiner: Don't be sh-

Ymir then aggressively grabbed Reiner's neck from behind, hurting even his bones.

Ymir: Are you done acting like a perv yet? Or do I have to MAKE you stop?

Historia was shocked, Sasha almost laughed, while Bertholt was sweating and trembling.

Reiner grunted in pain, and he moved back from Historia.

Sasha: C'mon guys, let's get out of here.

They left and entered the school, while Reiner cursed at Bertholt for not defending him.

Meanwhile, Eren and his buddies were already in the school.

Eren: Holy shit, this is awesome!

The Hall was also overflowing with Halloween decorations everywhere, with the bonus of a huge buffet table with candy, sweets, cakes and gassy drinks of all kind; a Horror House in the room right beside the Hall; and lastly, a huge stage where the music band would later animate the dancing floor.
