I sat down in my chair for homeroom.
For the first day of high school.
For my first day of 9th grade.
I pulled out my drawing notebook and a pencil and started sketching out a stack of books on it. It would be about 5 or 6 books high. Each one a different color. Each one saying a different band on the spine. I looked down at my fading glow bracelets from last night with a small smile.
The teacher called my name out and I looked up. She motioned for me to come to the front of the room. She handed me an envelope and a folder. I sat back down and looked at the folder. It was my papers for my school therapy sessions.
Before you get any ideas no I'm not depressed... Anymore. These are just so the school knows how to deal with something that happens to me if I ever become moody I guess.
I shoved the stuff in my book bag and made my way to the office. I went to the therapist and gave him the folder, but had to wait a few minutes because a boy was sitting in a chair talking to the therapist.
When he left he smiled at me and I smiled back. I walked in and handed the folder to the therapist and chatted a bit when the bell rang. I said goodbye and walked out the door to 1st period when I saw the same boy before a few minutes ago.
Just so you know I am not a talkative person.
"Hi" he said softly.
"Hi" I mustered back. I guess you could say I was shy.
"I'm Bradley. What's your name?"
I hesitated before answering "Arie, short for Ariana."
"You must be new here since you're walking towards a 9th grade classroom."
"Yeah, you're in 10th I'm guessing..."
He smiled brightly. "You guessed correctly."
I smirked a little and walked into class. He mumbled goodbye and I sat down towards the middle of the class. I couldn't get that boys smile out of my head. It felt so welcoming. But his gray eyes said otherwise. They were very mysterious.
With setting the thoughts aside I pulled out my notebook and wrote down what was written on the board.
