" Damnit Ilaria !"
The tension that was rising along with the sun was no less heated.
"Still not picking up?" The female executive frowned as she listened to the man sitting beside her growling audibly as he threw his phone rather harshly on the table.
"Chuuya, calm down. It hasn't been much time."
Time wasn't the factor that disturbed the young executive. Knowing for a fact that danger was awaiting that woman , he had tried to stop her from simply quenching her ever growing ego.
And of course she had to go! Stupid Ilaria!
"Ane-san...you don't understand." He mumbled , racking his fingers through his hair as a soft sigh escaped his dry lips.
"I don't understand what?" The woman threw back the question, glancing at the male who stiffened.
Having known him from when he was a boy, Kouyou Ozaki always noticed his behaviour more than anyone in the organisation. So naturally it didn't go past her eyes how Chuuya was unusually worried for someone who perhaps doesn't give him a second thought.
Chuuya kept silent , looking at the ceiling blankly. His arms folded tightly over his chest.
Night is the most amazing and majestic time and the most dangerous .
Nakahara Chuuya, having only experienced the horrors of night for almost his whole life, had for this one time understood why the darkened sky and the silence that persisted until morning was so adored by people .
But it didn't last. Nothing good lasts forever.
Or was it even good? This question remained.
Was Ilaria Alessandro in any way good for anyone? Rather a calamity.
A calamity with a captivating and deceiving nature that destroyed everyone near her. Without any judgement and without any hesitation.
But maybe...maybe. She was considerate towards Chuuya . Maybe she felt at least a few drops of the feelings that had made Chuuya wanting her alive and safe. Maybe that stone cold heart would would melt slightly for him.
The out of space calmness he felt when the woman was around him wasn't pleasing. It worried him constantly and yet...he didn't stop himself last night.
He didn't stop himself from pulling her closer and she came without a protest as well. Blocking out the harsh reality that had made them who they are.Unacceptable to the society. Pests. Villains .
This question is not answered as well to why he took such a bold step that anyone would disbelief .Even he can't understand himself that what in the world made him give in every aspect of self respect and grace he had for a woman .
Was it simply curiosity that drew him towards her?
She can't be understood by anyone. Just like Chuuya himself. The baracade she would never let down and the tiny sparks of humanity that was seen in her was absurd and didn't go well with one another.
"Tell me Chuuya. What do I not understand?" The woman he respected like an older sister asked again.
And he remained just as quiet as before still feeling the gaze of Kouyou Ozaki studying him intensely.
What was he suppose to say? That he had fallen for a traitor? That he had let her enter to a part of his life that previously only belonged to only himself?
He didn't understand when Ilaria had walked out of the room they shared that night.
He remembers precisely how his hands were wrapped around her tightly and the fear that she might push him away at some point.
