Mori's POV:

" Ah . Yes. Yes. I'll be sending one of my executive there, so no need to worry."

" Of course ! Thank you for your cooperation. The Port Mafia will be extremely benefitted from our little business alignment. "

I ended the call. The sky was still dark from the last night's rain. A certain gloom was hanging on the atmosphere. I stretched myself on the chair. It had been an sleepless night. It would not have been if everything was going according to the plan . However it certainly did not.

Disposing of people , killing or murder wasn't a problem for the Mafia. Everything would have gone smoothly if I didn't get this call . But this would be extremely beneficial. Any gifted in our ranks would be helpful. And this particular gifted would certainly be of help.

But for every gain , a price has to be paid . We can always use blackmailing . Taking their loved ones hostages and forcing them to work for us wasn't a method unknown to the Mafia. But this particular victim wasn't an easy subject . There is no one known be this much adored or respected by them that they would be ready to sacrifice their life. Nor did they have anyone who would care if they died.

That's why they are this much independent and ferocious . They are the lone wolf who would mark their territory alone . Who doesn't wants to be in someone else's mercy but walk on their own way without any resentment or regret .

Torturing them was also a way . But again , they do not have anyone waiting for them at home , nor they were afraid of pain and death. And also we can't risk killing a valuable asset of the Mafia.
