To say it shortly,

It was a nightmare.

Troubles , conflicts, wars were not unusual for the Port Mafia. It was a part of their job which was inevitable and no matter the cost , it would have to be dealt with perfection.

However, this game turned out to be more deadly than they imagined. More hazardous and more ruthless. It almost fits the Port Mafia's level of destruction and strategy. Not every other insignificant gang or organisations can meet this standard.

The meeting room was heavy with tension and suffocating with the dark stares of the mafiosos who sat there with silence and dignity and with the rage and bloodlust creeping through their veins.

A speaker somewhere inside the room blurted out the evening news. The reporter's voice was frantic at times and sometimes lowered to point out something mysterious and unsolved. Though, to be honest, the whole case was unsolved and horrifying for the average citizens of Yokohama.

While on the other hand, the people sitting in the conference room of the port Mafia headquarters didn't even flinch. After all, even though these gruesome deaths ,which the police weren't even sure whether it was an accident or not, tore apart families, it was the Port Mafia who were suffering the losses in the end.

" Not just one! More than three factories and two container ships had been destroyed in a week! The Yokohama Police Department is still trying to retrieve the bodies of the employees- "

"Shut it down Chuuya-kun. This lad has a rather annoying voice."

The boss of the Port Mafia sighed , leaning back on his chair.

"It's all over the news now. This is troublesome."

Ozaki Kouyou glanced at the other person sitting on the right and most surprisingly, he was quiet. It was pretty normal for him to have already started shouting a long series of curses associating the name of their current cause of trouble along with it.

"Chuuya-kun. You're quiet."

The said man opened his eyes to a split. He can't stay quiet when the boss is addressing him . That'll be disrespectful.

" I do not have anything to say , boss. It's up to you on how you want to handle this situation. We'll carry out the order."

Thanks to the silent room, his dry voice was audible for the others and earned a nod from his boss.

Chuuya went back to closing his eyes and readjusting his folded arms over his chest. His hat casting a shadow over half of his face , doing a pretty good job concealing his emotions.

He wasn't really keen to show his guilt filled appearance. Guilt , disappointment, anger and utter devastation. It wasn't really a mystery to the Port Mafia who were behind this massacre. Neither was it to Chuuya.

But he found it harder to accept it compared to the others. He should have remembered the unspoken rule of the underworld ,

Not to care…

The blame that weighed his heart a hundred times more than usual was this. Because he let down his guard. Being the executive, he should have remembered or at least realized that people are not believable and worthy of trust. It was perhaps all his fault that the Mafia is suffering through something like this.

Mori had warned him and he ignored it. He was too confident. More correctly, he had too much confidence in the person who's at the core of this whole problem that is turning the lives of the people of Yokohama upside down.
