Chapter 18

The day before the big party, Yoongi was doing his Vlive. She got called in about halfway through. Her stomach must have made a noise because he immediately started peeling a clementine for her. It's their favorite snack. 

He peeled it and brought a piece to her lips; she took it without thought. They literally feed her daily; it's a habit at this point. Stasia closed her eyes and chewed. Yoongi laughed because she stopped talking mid-sentence.

Yoongi looked at the camera and apologized, "Sorry about that. The baby craves oranges as much as I do." Then he was asked if he was team boy or team girl. He said team boy, but he'd be happy and love a little princess if that's what it was. 

Jimin, Hobi, and Kook were all team boy, and the others were team girl. Stasia was still on the fence. Every mother wants a little girl, but if she had a boy, she'd feel like she had a little Noah running around. Honestly, as long as the baby was healthy, she really didn't care. 

The appointment went great, and Kook teared up when he saw the gender. She thought it might be a boy since he was so happy. Stasia posted a photo of the doctor handing him the envelope—it was just their two hands and the envelope—with the caption, "Two hours and we'll know."

When he got home, he immediately went to load the rose petals, and she went to get dressed. She wore a white mermaid-style dress, and she wanted to show the little bit of stomach she had. 

The boys wore their #btsteamboy blue shirts or #btsteamgirl pink shirts. They started the camera and proceeded to have a party. The boys were being their typical crackhead selves. She kept up English running commentary for the International Army.

It was time, "Army, send your votes: blue heart for a boy and pink heart for a girl. Or a purple heart if you're just excited about the baby." They stood under the box and counted down from 10. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and she pulled the rope. 

They were showered in 1,000's of pink petals. All the boys started jumping up and down, and she just started crying. They noticed and surrounded her in hugs. Stasia finally convinced them that she was happy, and it was happy tears. 

She was having a little girl, she couldn't believe it. They ended the live and sat around talking. Everyone was so excited, and Jimin wanted to go baby clothes shopping immediately. She looked at these seven men, men that she loved, and she was just overwhelmed with how happy they were for this baby. 

She missed Noah so much, so much it wasn't even funny. But she loved them too, and they loved her and her daughter. It was overwhelming, to be honest, and it made her think.

Hobi noticed the tears in her eyes. He wiped them away and asked, "What's wrong?"

Stasia looked at him and the others and said, " We need to talk." He sat down and held her hand.

"What is it?" Jin asked with a concerned look on his face.

"I'm really really happy here, like I could stay here with you guys forever, but I have to think about my daughter. She's going to need a father, and I don't expect any of you to take that responsibility. But if I stay here, I'll never be able to get married again, and she will grow up without a father. But I'm in love with you guys. And I'm not ready to leave y'all yet, but I have to for her." She had tears in her eyes. 

Yoongi was the first to say something, "I'll be her Appa; I've wanted to since we brought you home. I love you, Stasia, more than anything."

Joonie was next: " Nothing would make me happier than to be a Dad, and I'm in love with you too."

Kook approached her and held her hands. "Noona, I know I'm younger than you, but I'll be there every step of the way in raising her. I love her so much already, and I love you too."

Everyone else agreed that they wanted her to stay and raise the baby together, and they all assured her that they loved her, too. This lifted a huge weight off her shoulders: They wanted her to stay, and they loved her, too. 

Stasia looked at these seven amazing men, who were all hers. " Now we just have to decide on a name. Any suggestions?" Lots of suggestions were thrown out, but it was Tae who said, "How about the Korean translation of Army? Isn't Ami an American name?"

It was, and it was perfect. She suggested Noa as the middle name in honor of her father. So, Ami Noa Lee, it was.

Stasia joked, "That's so much better than my name."

Joon chuckled, "I was wondering when you'd tell them your real name."

Kook looked at her quizzically. "Noona, I thought your name was Stasia Peri Lee, is it not?"

She turned bright red. " Technically, it's my nickname. My full legal name is Anastasia Peridot Lee. Peridot is my birthstone, and Anastasia is just a mouthful, so I shortened it to Stasia Peri Lee."

Jimin looked at Joon, "Hyung, did you know about this?"

Joon nodded. "I read it on her medical charts; I never said anything because she didn't."

Stasia scoffed, "Would you admit it if it was your name?"

She posted a few photos from the gender reveal on Instagram. She filled a champagne glass full of pink petals and took a picture, a picture of the team pink guys' shirt and a mirror selfie. Sasaengs had a hay day with those pictures.
