"I am dying; why am I here?"
Stasia rolled her eyes, "you insisted on being here. You said that Julie would walk down the aisle in skinny jeans if you didn't supervise her."
Ami snorted her hand on her belly, "Well, I wasn't wrong there. Look."
"Omg, why is he encouraging that?" Stasia sighed as Jin held up a pair of skinny jeans and a hoodie. "A hoodie for a wedding," she groaned.
"He's the literal worst; he loves clothes and looks nice. Why is he pushing Julie to be her lazy self?"
Eric stood up and walked over to his sister. "No, absolutely not." He grabbed the items from his father's hand and said, "Go sit with mom now." He lightly pushed Julie towards the dress section. "I get that you don't want a typical wedding dress, and that's fine. But I will not let you walk down the aisle in a Paramore hoodie and ripped jeans."
"About damn time," Ami grumbled as she stood up and waddled after her little sister. "Let's find this damn dress so I can go home."
Jin chuckled a bit, "and she says I'm dramatic."
The very pregnant Ami whipped around and glared at her Appa, "Look, I get that she loves you and all. But I am two seconds away from murdering you and then going to eat a pretzel." Stasia tried her hardest not to laugh and smile, but she was failing easily, "I will murder you too if you laugh."
Stasia held her hands up. "I wouldn't dream of it. How about this? Eric seems to have her under control for the moment. Why don't we go eat something? I'm starving, and they can video chat us if need be."
Ami narrowed her eyes at her Appa, "I swear on all that is holy. If she doesn't get a proper dress, I will make good on my threat."
Jin's hands went into the air, "wouldn't dream of it. I promise."
"Good," she turned to her mother and smiled. "Let's go eat. If they buy something ugly, we can punish them later." Then she turned around and slowly made her way out of the store.
"You good there? You are chewing that pretzel-like it personally offended you in some way."
Ami winced a bit, "So, like, I'm fairly sure I'm in labor, but last time, it lasted forever, and I was starving, and they didn't let me eat."
Stasia sat up quickly. Her chair skidded across the floor and crashed onto the ground. "You are in labor?" she all but yelled at her oldest.
"Calm down," she waved, "you had ten kids, sit down."
"I'm calling Won," Stasia grumbled. Her son-in-law answered on the first ring, "Your obnoxious wife is in labor and refuses to leave the mall because she wants pretzels."
Won sputtered a bit before he said, "I have her go bag in my car. I was actually on my way to the mall. Can you meet me at the closest exit, and I'll pick her up and drive her there?"
"Of course, once she's done with her stupid pretzel," Stasia sighed as she watched her daughter munch and wince on the salty treat.
Jin made his way over with a massive grin. "Julie found a cute dress, but it's hot pink."
"Can you convince your stubborn daughter to start making her way to the exit so Won can pick her up since she's in freaking labor?"
"WHAT?" Jin screeched. "Get over here now, child." He bent down and picked Ami up, who grumbled that he better grab her pretzels, too. "I'll take her to the exit. Can you go make sure the dress is okay? I'll ride with them to the hospital."
Stasia made her way to the dress shop since Jin didn't really wait for an answer. When she walked in, Julie was twirling a bit in a very pretty, very pink dress. "Is this the winner?"
Julie nodded. "I seriously love it. It's so pretty and sparkly."
She knew that look on her youngest daughter's face, this was for sure the dress. "Then let's get it, and then we can go to the hospital since your sister is in labor."
"WHAT?" Julie and Eric yelled at the same time. Just like their father, Stasia grumbled to herself in a whisper.
When they got to the hospital, Lia looked like she was going to puke, and Joy looked like she was going to faint. "It is too late not to be pregnant anymore?"
Lia was 26 weeks, so she wasn't really showing much yet; Jesse chuckled a bit. "Fairly sure it is."
Trey was slowly rubbing Joy's back. "I promise it's not that bad. Aimes is just dramatic."
Yoongi snorted and looked at Taehyung. "You gonna let him just boldface lie like that?"
Tae shrugged, "how do you know he's wrong? You've never given birth before."
The elder's mouth dropped open. "No, but I was there for all of Stasia's, and it didn't exactly look easy."
"I bet I could do it just fine," the younger mumbled.
Stasia just sat there because she knew that Yoongi was about to whoop his ass, and she couldn't wait for that to happen. The guys fighting has always been 10 out of 10, hilarious and fun to watch. Yoongi turned to look at her, "not going to say anything?"
"I mean, you are doing just fine on your own." She clapped her hands together. " We can get that birthing machine that simulates contractions, put him through the paces, and see how well he handles it."
Yoongi walked over to Stasia and kissed her, "You are a God damn genius." He turned to look at Tae, "and you are so fucked."
Before the younger could even get a rebuttal out, when they heard a loud scream and then a cry from the baby that came out of the hospital room they were standing in front of, "Ahh, he's here."
When Stasia walked into the room, Aimes was in bed and looking exhausted. "I'd like to introduce Choi Noah Perri." Tears filled her eyes. "He looks just like him," she whispered. "I miss him so much."
Stasia had no idea that Noah was standing right behind her, looking at his grandson, who was named after him.
