Ten minutes later, Jin was sneaking out of the house, and not very well, she might add. When he got in the car, Stasia was pretty sure that at least three other members were standing at the door. She had to laugh; Jin was so ridiculous.
Stasia handed him a mask, hat, and sunglasses. While he was still recognizable, especially with Aimes and her there. She was hoping this would give him a bit of privacy from gawkers.
They spent a few hours playing. Jin, despite being in his early 30s, acts like he's a child sometimes. It's extremely evident whenever he plays with Ami. He was down the slides and on the swings with her. Stasia couldn't keep up with them after the first hour, so she just watched from a bench.
It didn't take too long for them to come looking for her, complaining that they were hungry and thirsty. She brought snacks and drinks, of course, but they wanted Fried Chicken. She was pretty sure Jin wanted it, and he was just using Ami as a mouthpiece.
She sighed, "You two, I swear. Okay, let's go get chicken, but we have to bring a lot home because they will be mad we ate without them."
They both started cheering. The three of them found a chicken restaurant near the park and got seats inside. Thankfully, there weren't many people in there, so Jin could sit comfortably. They placed their order and ate some delicious food. When Aimes fell asleep in Jin's lap, it was time to get home. He picked her up, carried her to her car seat, and then hopped in the driver's seat. He held his hand out for the key.
"You do realize that this is my car, right?" With her hands on her hips.
"Yes but you are my girlfriend, why wouldn't I escort you everywhere?"
"I drove here, Seokjin, not you."
"That's because I was escaping from the enemies."
"Enemies? They are your brother's, nerd!"
She tossed him the keys. If she got him laughing, he'd wake Aimes up. While his windshield-wiper laugh is adorable and contagious, it's not exactly quiet. When they got home, he carried Ami to bed, and she carried the chicken to the kitchen. The other six were sitting in there, trying to figure out what to eat. Jin and she did most of the cooking, so Yoongs picked up the slack.
"Here, I brought some food," she said as she held up the bags. They all cheered. Then Kook looked at her and asked where they'd been. She told him the park with a shrug, and then they all proceeded to get butt hurt that they couldn't go. Finally, after 10 minutes, she got frustrated. "You can take her to the park anytime you want; I'll even come with you if I don't have class. Sheesh, you act like I confine you to the house or something."
"Naw, just the bedroom," Tae said with a straight face. Tae takes deadpan to a whole new level.
She wanted to be mad or annoyed, but she couldn't. So she settled on annoying them mode. "You know what, you are right. I do keep you in your bedrooms entirely way too much. Let's fix that. From now on we won't have cuddle nights, I vow to give you at least a month of me NOT harassing you in the bedroom, or anywhere else." Then she gave them a sweet smile and turned to leave the kitchen.
Whack, "Why would you say that, Tae? You know how she is?" Hobi whispered and yelled at Tae.
Another smack, "Yeah, you know she has to one-up whoever. Just look at me," Jimin grumbled.
"Noona, don't take away cuddle night, please," Kook practically cried.
"Psh, you can try to take it away, but I know exactly what to do to get you to cave. I just have to..."
She turned around, waving her hands, "ok, ok, I'm kidding. Now shut it, Yoongs." She was bright red, and he just smiled his gotcha smile at her.
The next several weeks flew by. They fell into a great routine. She and one of the guys would take Ami to the park at least twice a week. She'd go to work, they'd do their idol thing. Ami was in practically every Vlive, and Stasia was in a lot of them, too. She was around so much that if she wasn't in a Vlive, Army would ask where she was, and they were always disappointed when one of the guys told them she was at work. But Aimes cheered them up. They loved that little girl so so much.
She was in the living room putting off getting ready for class; she had just been so tired lately and didn't know why. Tae walked into the living room and asked if she was hungry and wanted some ramen. Stasia threw her hand over her mouth and ran to the bathroom. She didn't have much in her stomach, but that didn't matter. When she was done, Tae handed her a cup of water. After some slow sips, he helped her up to sit on the toilet.
"Are you okay?" He asked
"Yeah, I am. But I think I'm pregnant." She looked up at him, worried. They'd lost the last baby due to a tragic accident; only Yoongs and her knew that it was his. She didn't know if they'd want to try again after that. But Tae had his big boxy grin, and he started jumping up and down. He ran out into the hallway and started yelling for everyone.
"What's going on? Why are you yelling?" Joon asked, slightly exasperated.
"Appa, you okay?" Ami asked with curiosity.
"Taehyungie, calm down. What is it?" Jimin had his arms crossed as he sighed.
"Stasia is pregnant!" He yelled. The shock that crossed everyone's face was hilarious.
She walked out from behind him. "Surprise!" She looked at Yoongi, and they both had tears in their eyes. She was pretty sure this one wasn't his. She didn't know how she knew, but she did. She briefly shook her head no, he understood, he always does. He gave her a weak smile; he was still happy, but the loss was still fresh for the two of them.
