Forever Together

Chapter 4

As soon as they got home, lunch was ready, but Stasia flew past the boys and was on a mission. She brought lots of great teaching materials, but all of her former students were children, and Spanish was their first language. The students she will be teaching now are all 17+, and for some, English will be their third or fourth language. So needless to say, she had to make some adjustments.

She scrapped a lot but kept silly things like the posters and games because she realized that it's easier to teach anything if you can turn it into a challenge or a competition. She even kept the sticker reward chart because she knew that regardless of their age, several of the boys would want to earn more stickers than their hyungs. Two hours later, she felt like she was going to rock my first day.

'GGRRROOOOWAESDASDCX' Stasia was starving, and her stomach was letting her know. Before she could even get up, Jimin was at the door like the mind reader he was. He had a sandwich, some chips, a bit of kimchi, and a root beer. This man was a Godsend; she could kiss him. 

"I hope I'm not bugging you, but you really need to eat, at least for the baby," Jimin whispered, looking a little shy. 

"Thank you sssooooo much. I was actually starving, and I was about to go rooting around in the fridge." Stasia grinned massively because it was exactly what she needed. 

"Well, I got here at the perfect time, then. What's all this?" he waved his hand towards the mess on her floor.

"Teaching materials for class, want me to show you?" 

He nodded eagerly. It took about 20 minutes because she was eating and answering his 800 million questions, but in the end, he assured her it was great and the stickers would totally work on Kookie & Taehyungie.  

Monday was her first day of teaching, and thankfully, it was with BTS. If she were going to screw up, she'd prefer it be with them. Each member had a tablet that was connected to her computer and the smartboard. She could write questions on the board, and they could answer them on their tablets. It was a great way to see where everyone was in terms of their English skills. 

After about an hour, the guys were having way too much fun for it to even be a class. So she wrapped it up, gave everyone a sticker for their charts, and explained that once they earned a certain amount of stickers, they'd get a prize. For a bunch of grown men, that was awfully exciting. 

At dinner that weekend, she mentioned that she had her first prenatal appointment next week and wondered if one of them would mind taking her since she wasn't comfortable navigating on her own. After 10 minutes of arguing, she had to remind them that she goes at least twice a month, so everyone will be able to go with her if they really want.

RM said that as the leader, he should go first, to which Jin yelled, "Joonie, you can't even drive, so I'm going to have to take her first." Finally, they all agreed that RM and Jin would go first, and then they'd just rotate the next two and so on.

At the appointment, she was so excited to see her little bean on the screen, but she was pretty sure the boys were more excited than she was. They were bouncing where they stood, that is until the Doctor lifted her shirt up to squirt the gel on her stomach. Both of them turned bright red and spun around to face the wall.

"Guys, it's fine. You'd see more if I was in a bikini," she said with a chuckle. Finally, after some begging, they turned around. Once they saw the baby on the ultrasound machine, both of them were in awe. RM even teared up a little bit. 

Stasia asked the doctor for a copy of the ultrasound pictures. He said he'd do one better: He'd get her a video copy and pictures so she could take them home. Everyone was waiting at home for them, and when she walked in, she was waving the pictures in the air to show them. She wasn't very far along, so there wasn't a lot to see, but they still ooed and awed over the baby.

"I really wish we could have gone; I wanted to hear the heartbeat," Jimin said with a pouty face.

RM called from the living room, where he and Jin were setting up the video. "Jiminah, come watch. We brought a video of it," RM said with a cheesy grin.

All eight of them sat on the couch and watched her baby on the flat screen. Everyone was so focused on the video, even the two who went to the appointment. This baby wasn't even here yet, but it was already loved.
