Chloe glanced at Freyja when she noticed her fidgeting on the sofa beside her. She tucked her legs onto the sofa and carefully picked up her baby, placing her onto her lap. Her heart pounded against her chest as she took Freyja's hand in her own, smiling down at her as she gripped Chloe's finger, gently sucking it.
"Surely you can't be hungry again all ready." she chuckled, cherishing every single moment that she had alone with her beautiful baby girl.
"Oh no, are you tired?" she grinned when Freyja yawned.
"Having your granny over yesterday tired you out didn't it." she continued, glancing up as Amy walked into the room and sat opposite her on the sofa.
"Are you talking to yourself?" Amy laughed.
"No, I'm talking to my baby girl." Chloe grinned, still not quite able to believe that she was a mother. The past week had been a complete blur and she still couldn't quite comprehend that she had a beautiful baby girl that meant the world to her.
"You're amazing with her you know." Amy told her, smiling proudly at her cousin.
"She's quite an easy baby really." Chloe pointed out.
"That's because she adores you." Amy smiled.
"Her love is just so unconditional, it's amazing. She doesn't care what I look like or anything, just as long as I'm here for her. It's refreshing." Chloe explained, her heart bursting with pride, like it always did when she looked at her baby.
"What's in your notebook?" Amy asked, frowning to herself when she suddenly noticed Chloe's notebook on the armrest of the sofa.
"I'm just keeping track of the exercise that I need to do and what I eat and stuff." she replied.
"I have to go for my morning run when Lee gets here, and I have another Zumba online class tonight too." she continued. Amy nodded slowly, her stomach churning nervously as she stared at Chloe, still not quite able to shake the feeling that she was overdoing things, particuarly when she'd only given birth just over a week ago.
"You do realise you don't have that much weight to lose anyway." Amy pointed out, frowning to herself as she glanced at Chloe's petite frame.
"I need to tone my stomach again and then I can put my piercing back in." Chloe explained.
"Oh yeah, I forgot that you have your belly button pierced." Amy said quietly.
"And I want to get a tattoo." she announced.
"Really?!" Amy exclaimed, raising her eyebrow.
"To cover your stretch marks?" she asked.
"I don't have any stretch marks thankfully, because I didn't show that much. I want to cover my scar from when I was stabbed." she explained.
"A brand new start." she added, a note of sadness present in her voice.
"Do you know what tattoo you're going to have?" Amy asked, trying to keep Chloe talking when she noticed that her eyes were filling with tears.
"I would like a feather along the scar, and I kind of want it to look like a quill, so it'll have a drop of ink coming off the bottom and then below, the date of Freyja's birth." Chloe smiled, smiling at Freyja when she locked eyes with her.
"Wow that's going to look beautiful." Amy breathed.
"I have to wait until I've finished breast feeding first." Chloe pointed out, glancing at Amy and frowning in confusion when they heard a knock at the door.
"It's a bit early for Lee isn't it." Amy frowned, glancing at Chloe when she nodded slowly. Amy quickly stood up, making her way along the hallway to answer the door. Chloe frowned to herself when she heard Amy let out a small squeal of excitement. Her eyes flickered to the doorway, smiling to herself as Amy entered the room, closely followed by Kyle.
