Chloe smiled down at Freyja as she gently placed her onto the bed, smiling down at her beautiful baby girl, still not quite able to comprehend how lucky she was to have her in her life. Someone whose love was so strong and pure. Her eyelids flickered to Danny when she noticed him sitting on her bedroom floor, watching her closely, an expression that she couldn't quite interpret on his handsome features.

"I'm going to take her in the bath with me later for the first time." she told him, trying to fill the silence.

"If she's anything like you then I'm sure she will love being in the water." he smiled, watching her as she climbed off the bed and sat on the floor beside him.

"Yes probably." she smiled back, watching him as he pulled the boxes on her floor towards them.

"Amy sorted the things into sections for me the other day." she told him.

"Okay, well we can get the paperwork done so that you are ready to go." he explained, quickly picking up her folder.

"I figured you are the best person to ask, since you are kind of self employed with your song writing and stuff." she explained, smiling at him when he quickly put on his reading glasses. He nodded slowly, methodically filling in the paperwork for her. Chloe smiled to herself as she rummaged in the boxes, her heart bursting with pride as she gazed at the large collection of make-up products that she had purchased.

"So, I take it, you're just going to be doing freelance work?" he checked, hesitating for a moment as he gazed at the form.

"Yes, then that way I can fit the work around Freyja." she told him.

"I have to start my driving lessons soon, then I can take her with me." she continued.

"Take her with you?" he frowned.

"Yes, for when I'm doing makeup for weddings and things and the clients don't want to come here, I can go to their houses and take her with me." she explained, smiling to herself as her eyes flickered to her baby as she fidgeted on the bed.

"You're becoming so independent, it's awesome." he said, smiling proudly at her.

"I just figured it's a good way to make money whilst using my skills and it means that I don't have to pay for childcare." she told him.

"But I'll just be doing it occasionally while she is so little." she added.

"That'll give you time for your driving lessons too." he pointed out.

"And I want to get my figure back." she told him.

"It's officially going to be a brand new start." she said quietly, a note of sadness present in her voice.

"It'll do you good, to have a project to focus on." he agreed, his heart breaking a little when he noticed that her eyes were filling with tears. Chloe nodded in agreement, quickly turning her attention to Freyja when she began to fidget, making a series of sounds.

"Speaking of new starts, I have a present for you." he said quietly, rummaging in his hoodie pocket and slowly pulling something out. Chloe glanced down at her hand when she felt him take it in his own and slowly pull it towards himself. She gasped as he placed a simple silver bracelet on her wrist, smiling to herself when she noticed the star in the middle of it, sparkling in the light from the bedroom.

"Wow, it's beautiful." she breathed, gazing down at the bracelet on her wrist.

"It's meant to signify everything that you've been through." he said quietly. Chloe raised her eyebrow at him as she waited for him to continue.
