Chloe quickly downed her glass of wine, trying to steady her nerves at the thought of leaving her baby alone. Since the moment that she'd given birth to her, she'd barely been apart from her. She placed the empty wine glass onto the bedside table, gazing down at her baby as she smiled up at her.

"I don't want to leave you baby girl, but I have to get you used to being apart from me." she said softly, tucking her legs onto the bed, softly stroking Freyja's cheek with her fingertips.

"I just hope that your Dad can handle the responsibility, but your Uncle Danny will make sure that you are okay." she muttered, trying to fight the tears that were filling her eyes so that she didn't ruin her makeup. Chloe jumped as she heard a knock at the bedroom door.

"What?" she said shortly, assuming that it was Lee.

"It's just me." Amy said as she quickly opened the bedroom door.

"I have your dress." she added, holding out a dress to her. Chloe gasped as she stared at the black lace bodycon dress.

"You're going to look amazing." Amy grinned. Chloe sighed to herself as she reluctantly stood up, taking the dress that Amy handed to her. She remained silent as she walked into the bathroom, quickly closing the door behind herself. Chloe dressed in a trance, still not quite able to suppress the fear that she was feeling.

"I need you to zip me up." she called, glancing at Amy as she walked into the bathroom, quickly zipping up the back of her dress.

"Wow, you look stunning." Amy breathed, staring at her cousin as she stood before her in the dress. The tight material perfectly highlighting Chloe's flawless figure.

"How come you've had a baby and yet you have a better body than me." she smiled.

"I hate you even more now." she added. Chloe smiled to herself, her heart pounding against her chest as she stared at her reflection, glancing down when she noticed that the dress only just reached her mid thigh. She turned her frame, smiling slightly when she suddenly realised how much the dress suited her. A small surge of confidence stirred in her as she brushed her hair, her loose curls rippling perfectly down her shoulders.

"Have you got some heels to go with it?" Amy asked her.

"Yes, I have black suede ones somewhere." she replied, quickly walking back into the bedroom and rummaging in the cupboard. Amy watched her as she quickly pulled on her heels, her cheeks colouring under Amy's gaze.

"You're actually going to have to beat the men away with a stick." Amy giggled.

"I doubt it." Chloe said quietly.

"Trust me, you will. I keep telling you that you should try and hook up with someone." Amy said quickly.

"What for?" Chloe frowned.

"For a bit of fun, you said you don't want to fall in love again, so you can't never have sex again." Amy pointed out.

"It's quite a big deal though isn't it." Chloe said quietly.

"At least it would cut that tie to Lee though." she added thoughtfully.

"Because then you won't have only been with him anymore." Amy agreed.

"Yes exactly." Chloe said quietly, sighing to herself as she found herself wishing once again that she could cut all ties with Lee and remove him from her life entirely.

"Can I have a couple of minutes alone?" Chloe blurted, when a sudden thought popped into her head. Amy frowned for a moment, before nodding slowly and quickly leaving the room. As soon as she was alone, Chloe hurried over to her makeup bag, and quickly began to cover the scars on her arm, cursing herself that she'd almost forgotten to hide them. She smiled in satisfaction as she gazed at her arm, checking that her scars were no longer visible.
