"Wow, you look amazing!" Louise breathed as she stood behind Chloe, carefully zipping up her dress.

"So do you." Chloe smiled back, staring at her own reflection, a small smile playing on the corner of her lips as she felt a small surge of confidence. She couldn't help but feel attractive as she stood in her fitted bridesmaid dress, the tight lace bodice, perfectly highlighting her figure.

"Just for the record, if I ever get married, you are not being my bridesmaid." Louise giggled, watching Chloe closely as she slowly turned to face her, raising her eyebrow questioningly.

"Because I'd be worried that you would upstage me with your beauty." Louise grinned, sighing sadly to herself, still not quite able to believe how beautiful Chloe looked, without even having to try. Even with a subtle makeup look and her golden brown hair tied back in an updo style, a beautiful crystal hair clip in place, her beauty radiated from her. Chloe shot her a small smile, not entirely sure how to respond.

"Wow, you look beautiful." Louise breathed, her eyes fixed on Kirstie as she walked out of the bathroom wearing her wedding dress.

"I feel amazing." Kirstie admitted, smiling at herself as she gazed at her reflection in the mirror, slowly twirling.

"The dress really suits you." Chloe said, her eyes filling with tears as she stared at her best friend. Despite the fact that she was full of happiness for her friend, she couldn't help but be reminded of how much she had been looking forward to her own wedding to Lee, before everything had changed.

The three of them jumped as they heard a sharp knock at the door. They glanced at each other, frowning in confusion as Louise walked over to answer the door. She gasped quietly, quickly glancing at Chloe when she saw Michelle standing in front of her.

"I haven't come to cause any problems, I just want to wish you luck." Michelle said quietly, her heart plummeting when she was reminded that her friends hardly wanted anything to do with her. Despite the fact that she knew it was her actions that had driven a huge wedge between her and the group, she couldn't help but wish that things didn't have to be that way.

"Thank you." Kirstie said quietly, glancing at Chloe nervously when Michelle walked into the room. Chloe shuffled her feet awkwardly, avoiding Michelle's gaze as she stared at her.

"The three of you look amazing." Michelle complimented them, not quite able to escape the feeling in her gut that if she hadn't hurt Chloe in the way that she had, Kirstie would have asked her to be one of her bridesmaids. The two of them had been best friends for years and Michelle knew in her heart that she would never stop hoping that one day they could return to the way things were.

"I can't believe you and Ben are getting married." Michelle breathed, desperately trying to make the effort with the group.

"I know, I can't wait." Kirstie smiled.

"And for your honeymoon." Louise teased, wiggling her eyebrows at her.

"Where are you going?" Michelle asked.

"Ben has booked a cabin over the water in the Maldives." Kirstie said, her heart pounding against her chest in excitement.

"Wow, that sounds amazing!" Michelle breathed. Kirstie nodded in agreement, squirming slightly when the awkward silence returned. Michelle glanced at Chloe, opening her mouth to speak to her, quickly closing it again when she suddenly realised that she had no idea what to say to her. She couldn't help but feel that after everything she'd done to Chloe, she had no right to even be in the same room as her.

"Anyway, we'd better head down." Louise announced, glancing at her watch.

"I'll leave you guys too it." Michelle smiled, reluctantly leaving the room. As soon as she left the three of them turned to face each other, raising their eyebrows questioningly.
