Chloe's eyes flickered open, her vision still blurring as she slowly awoke, her eyes adjusting to the bright light of her hotel room. A small smile played on the corner of her lips as she laid on her side, gazing into Freyja's eyes. She carefully reached out and took Freyja's hand in her own, gently stroking her daughter's hand with her thumb, her heart swelling with pride when she locked eyes with her baby. No matter how much time passed, Chloe knew that she would never truly be able to believe how lucky she was to have Freyja in her life. To finally have someone that made her feel complete. Chloe sighed to herself, as her mind wandered to her dream. She remembered how she had climbed onto Lee's lap, gazing into his eyes as she slowly untied the laces on her corset, his deep blue eyes full of longing for her. Her heart pounded against her chest, a small smile playing on the corner of her lips as she thought about how much she'd enjoyed making love to him. It had been just like old times, before everything bad happened between the two of them......before Steph. She couldn't help but wish that they were able to return to a time when he was still her fiancee and she was still in love with him, before all of the hurt. She sighed deeply, trying to suppress the dream that she'd had, not entirely sure why she dreamt about Lee, when she hadn't thought about him in that way for so long. Chloe slowly sat up in bed, frowning to herself when she suddenly heard the sounds of someone breathing beside her. She took deep breaths, trying to steady her nerves, her stomach churning when the events from last night suddenly came flooding back to her. It hadn't been a dream.....she'd slept with her cheating ex-fiance, allowing him back into her life in the most intimate way. She took a deep breath, forcing herself to glance at him, a small squeak of fear escaping her lips when she noticed Lee laying beside her in bed, his eyes closed as he slept.
As soon as the squeak of fear escaped Chloe's mouth, Lee's eyes snapped open. His gaze softened as soon as he laid eyes on Chloe, sitting up in bed, staring down at him, her eyes wide in fear.
"Morning." he said huskily, not quite able to tear his eyes away from her. Chloe remained silent, not entirely sure what to say or how to respond to the situation.
"Last night was pretty awesome." he said quietly, trying to fill the uncomfortable silence.
"Oh my god." she whispered, her stomach churning as she thought about what she'd done.
"I'm sorry, last night shouldn't have happened." she continued, not quite able to bring herself to make eye contact with him.
"Yes it should have." he grinned, raising his eyebrow cheekily.
"It really shouldn't have, we're not together anymore remember." she pointed out, her cheeks colouring as she avoided his intense gaze, squirming slightly when she felt him watching her closely.
"Well you seemed to be enjoying yourself last night. I don't remember hearing you complaining." he pointed out, wiggling his eyebrows at her.
"The way I remember it, you wanted me too." he prompted, when she fell silent.
"Please stop, it was an accident." she said quietly, an edge of sadness present in her voice. Lee sighed to himself, trying to suppress the disappointment that was churning in his stomach. Even though he knew in his heart that he didn't deserve her, he still couldn't help but have a small swirl of hope after the events of last night.
"Does this have anything to do with you and Danny?" he asked shortly, not quite able to suppress the jealousy that was swirling in his stomach. Chloe glanced at him for a moment, frowning in confusion.
"This has nothing to do with Danny, it's about you and Steph." she said firmly, biting the inside of her lip to try and hold back the tears that were filling her eyes.
"But I've told you before, I'm not with Steph." he protested, sighing to himself as he quickly sat up, resting his back against the headboard.
"I meant everything that happened." she said quietly, her heart sinking into her chest when she was reminded of everything that he'd done to her.
