Chloe glanced up from her laptop, shooting Danny a small smile as he climbed onto the bus.

"There you are." he grinned, quickly walking over to her and sitting opposite her.

"Hey, I thought you were rehearsing." she said quietly, glancing up at him.

"Yeah, I've finished now." he told her, smiling to himself when he suddenly noticed how beautiful she looked as she gazed at him over her laptop.

"What are you up to?" he asked, trying to distract himself from staring at her.

"Just sorting out some appointments for when I get home." she said quietly, her stomach fluttering happily at the thought of the tour finally coming to an end and being able to return home.

"I'm literally counting down the days until the tour is over." she admitted.

"I can come back to Nottingham with you for a few days when we finish the tour if you want?" he offered, his stomach churning at the thought of being parted from her. She nodded slowly, smiling at him as the two of them locked eyes.

"Where's Freyja?" he asked, glancing around, frowning in confusion when he suddenly noticed that Freyja wasn't by Chloe's side.

"Lee wanted to take her out for a walk." she replied, quickly turning her attention back to her laptop. Danny nodded slowly, his eyes fixed on her as he slowly trailed his hand along the table, eventually coming to a stop when he placed his hand on top of hers. Chloe glanced up at him, her eyes twinkling with happiness as he began to play with her fingers.

"How are you feeling now, have you vomited anymore?" he asked nervously, his stomach still churning nervously.

"A little bit, but I feel better." she told him. He nodded slowly, his eyes fixed on her hand as he continued softly stroking her fingertips.

"You don't need to worry, it was just a bit of travel sickness." she told him, staring up at him when she felt him watching her closely.

"I often get travel sick remember." she reminded him.

"I know.....it's just." he started, his voice trailing off when he suddenly realised that he couldn't quite bring himself to say the words aloud.

"What is it?" she frowned, quickly closing the laptop and giving him her full attention.

"Danny?" she prompted when he remained silent, not quite able to bring himself to make eye contact with her.

"Well you slept with Lee a few weeks ago didn't you." he said quietly, swallowing the dry lump that was rising in his throat at the thought of her being with anyone else. She nodded slowly, her cheeks colouring.

"Well, I just keep thinking that you might be pregnant." he said quietly, avoiding her gaze. Chloe remained silent, pondering his words, not entirely sure how to respond.

"It's just travel sickness." she said quietly, her stomach churning at the thought of being pregnant again.

"It probably is, but maybe we should just check." he suggested.

"I've been thinking about it a lot." he added. Chloe sighed deeply, her stomach plummeting with dread. She glanced at Danny, watching him closely as he rummaged in his pocket, quickly placing a pregnancy test onto the table in front of them. A small gasp escaped her lips, her heart pounding against her chest. Chloe knew in her heart that she couldn't handle being pregnant again, especially after everything that she went through when she was pregnant with Freyja.

"I can't be." she whispered under her breath, her eyes brimming with tears.

"Maybe we should just make sure." he said quietly, his heart breaking a little when he noticed the deep sadness in her eyes. She nodded slowly, her hand shaking as she tentatively picked up the pregnancy test. He watched her closely as she silently walked down the end of the bus, into the bathroom. As soon as he was alone, Danny ran his hand through his hair, sighing in frustration. He had no idea how to process the fact that she might be carrying Lee's baby once again. He'd been patiently waiting for weeks, for the moment that she finally realised how she felt about him and he couldn't help but feel that she was slowly slipping through his fingers.
