Lee smiled to himself as he sat on the tour bus, gently bouncing Freyja up and down on his lap, his heart pounding against his chest as she laughed happily, her eyes lighting up as she stared at him. A small smile played on his lips as he stared at his daughter, completely mesmerized by her, still not able to believe how lucky he was to have his baby girl. The deep love that he felt for her on a daily basis, consuming him. He'd never really considered the idea of having a family until he'd started dating Chloe, but now he knew that he couldn't be without his daughter. She was perfect in his eyes and he would never allow anyone to harm her.

"I love you so much baby girl." he smiled, bursting out laughing when she reached towards him, trying to grasp his hair in her tiny hands. Lee jumped slightly, snapping out of his thoughts as Duncan climbed onto the bus, shooting him a small smile as he made his way over to Lee, slowly sitting beside him.

"Hi little one." Duncan cooed, smiling at Freyja as she reached towards him, smiling widely.

"She's so cute." Duncan chuckled, taking her hand in his own and placing a soft kiss on it.

"She's perfect." Lee said quietly. Duncan nodded in agreement, a small smile playing on the corner of his lips as he watched his best friend interacting with his child, the intense love that he felt for her clear from just one look. He'd never realised that Lee was so naturally paternal until Freyja had been born.

"Why are you staring at me?" Lee rounded on him, his cheeks colouring slightly under Duncan's intense gaze.

"Just the way you are with her, it's really cute." Duncan admitted, chuckling to himself when Lee's cheeks coloured further.

"You're turning soft." he added, not quite able to resist the urge to tease him.

"Not really." Lee said defensively, a small smile playing on the corner of his lips.

"Where's Chloe anyway?" Duncan frowned, glancing around the bus when she suddenly realised that the three of them were alone.

"I dunno, out with Danny somewhere I guess." Lee replied quietly, sighing to himself when he thought about the fact that he barely saw Chloe anymore. Even though they had been on the tour for the past couple of weeks, he'd hardly spent any time with her at all.

"She just said that I could have Freyja for a while and she would come back for her before I had to be at sound check." he explained.

"At least you get some time alone with Freyja though." Duncan said quickly, trying to cheer him up when he noticed the deep sadness in his eyes.

"I know, but I miss her." he muttered.

"Chloe you mean?" Duncan checked. Lee nodded slowly, swallowing the lump that was rising in his throat.

"I guess I thought that maybe she would want to spend at least a small amount of time with me, but she spends all of her time with Danny." Lee said sadly.

"You have to see it from her side though, Danny is her best friend, you're her ex. She probably feels relaxed around him." Duncan pointed out, sighing to himself when he thought back on all of those months ago, back when Lee had broken Chloe's heart, despite the fact that he'd promised not too. Even though he understood Lee's desire to spend more time with Chloe, since it was clear that he was still madly in love with her, he couldn't help but think that Lee should understand Chloe better and realise the way that she was feeling.

"I have to admit, I've seen a change in her recently." he continued thoughtfully, glancing at Lee as he raised his eyebrow questioningly, waiting for him to continue.

"She's a lot more confident isn't she." Duncan pointed out.

"Yeah, I guess so." Lee agreed.

"I did notice the other day that whenever she walks into a room, all the guys can't tear their eyes away from her." he added, trying to keep himself talking to distract himself from the sadness that he was feeling.
