"Damn man! Did you fight some bears?!"

Jeno looks at Haechan with a glare.

"Dude, there literally was one."

"I—" the wizard covers his mouth trying so hard to keep the laughter inside.

"Whatever, just call Mark."

"Uh okay."

"Is Renjun here?"

"No, he left into town."

Jeno nods as he sits on one of the dining room chairs.

"Oh— are you good?"

"Yeah, just sore."

"Are you sure? That looks like it hurts...like real bad." the werewolf nods as Mark takes a napkin, cleaning some new blood.

"How was it?"

"I hated it...but we won!"

Mark smiles a bit as he dabs the cotton swab in alcohol. He began to wipe down one of his wounds.

"My dad was finally proud of me.."

"Jeno..."

Mark looks up at the boy slight sighing.

"What...? I really wanted him to tell me at least once in my life, so if I die next time. I'll die peacefully."

Mark takes a dried napkin, pressing it down onto his wound. Jeno let out a hiss of pain as he bites his lip.

"You're not dying and if you ever need that little push of motivation, you got me and Renjun! Plus those other dorks of course."

"I know, but usually when I ask for someone to tell me that...I end getting emotional."

"And? It's okay to be emotional every now and then." Jeno rolls his eyes as he takes a different napkin, cleaning a different wound.

As time went on Mark continues to clean the boys cuts and scratches. Yet there's so many. Too many if you ask him.

"Ate you sure you guys won?"

"Yes! I know this looks horrible but we won. For once, I actually don't mind being hurt."

"Okay, but—"

"Guys, sweetheart alert!" Haechan screams from the living room, as Mark began to hide everything. Jeno was confused for a second until the other boy explained.

"Roll your sleeves down!"

"Okay okay okay...!"

The werewolf carefully did so while bitting his bottom lip, trying to prevent any noises.

"Oh— hey Mark!"

Lucas says as he walks into the dining room. Followed by Kun, then Renjun.

"Where do I put the.." Renjun gasps as he puts the bags down, running up to the wolves.

"Jeno!? I—Is that you!?"
