Kun steps back into the room, watching them in disgust. This made him feel just like he did when living with his parents.

The absolute worse.

It was no shocker about Winwin's behavior but Ten's...this is what shocks him the most. Have they done something like this before?

Kun felt his stomach turn again. As he hears their conversation.

Poison?

Jungwoo.

Kun gains his composure before getting any closer to them. He quietly sighs before speaking.

"What are you doing?"

"Oh? Ge you're finally joining us. Well, I gave him this new poison that's still in the early stages. So I guess you can say he's our test subject?" He laughs while watching the guy hold onto his throat.

Kun froze again.

He tries not to let this bother him but it does. It's Jungwoo.

As Winwin reaches for the bottle again Kun stops him.

"What?"

"Don't you think that's enough? I mean..you want him to talk..don't you? At this rate you..you'll kill him."

"And? If he dies he dies, so what. At least we know this poison is worth the search."

"No!" Kun smacks the bottle out of his hand, spilling it across the floor.

"Kun! Why did you do that!? You know this stuff is hard to find." Winwin looks at his brother in shock.

"I don't care! You've lost it Sicheng. You resemble dad so much, it's sickening!" Kun felt his body weaken at the mention.

"You dare compare me to him?" Winwin stands, getting a bit too close to Kun.

"You know I'm nothing like him!" The elder puts his hand in between them to create space.

"What's happening to you?"

Winwin grabs his brother's wrist, staring at him. Kun couldn't say anything as he felt an immense pain shoot through his arm. His eyes tear up as the other slightly smiles.

Finally what seemed like forever, he let go. Kun stumbles back holding his arm as black marks begin to appear.

It clicked.

He couldn't believe it.

"Kun.."

"Don't! Don't.." He pushes him away with the strength he has left.

"Sicheng...what did you do?"

"I just...I..."

Kun ignores the other two, all he has on his mind is getting himself and Jungwoo out of there.
