"Marilla!"
I opened my eyes, starring at the dome shaped light, attached to the ceiling. I took in a deep breath as I began to sit up slowly. Sweet dripped down my skin as I gripped onto the white sheets. I was once again Awaking from the nightmare that soon faded from memory.
Glimpses flashed over my mind and I tried to hang onto them, to remember the dream, but before I could focus it was gone.
Leaving me breathless and alone in my darkened bedroom.
The sun was beginning to shine through the windows. Rays of oranges slowly trickling through the windows.
It still looked early, but I suppose I knew I was not going back to sleep. I looked to the clock on my side table to see it was 4:32am.
I released a breath as I looked over my grey-coloured room. My furniture was not modern nor stylish, but the amount of geek memorabilia covered every surface.
My shelves were filled with a mixture of books, and figurines of heroes and princesses.
Only now did I realize I still gripping so tightly to my bed. I looked down at my white-coloured knuckles as I gently unfolded my hands.
I took in another breath, cooling down my distressed blood.
I swung my legs off the bed, and made my way through my room towards the bathroom, passing movie posters that were stuck onto my bedroom walls. Star Wars, Game of Thrones, Frozen, Harry Potter and many more classics that I loved to watch over and over.
I walked into the bathroom, towards the mirror that sat over the sink. The mirror was decorated with Harry Potter stickers, I had perfectly placed a lightning bolt so that it looked like I had a scar on my forehead. I was an absolute geek.
I looked at my reflection, examining my features. My black hair was cut short stopping above my shoulders, falling over my face in loose waves. My eyes were a piercing blue colour, an ocean blue, ringed with a deep darker shade around the Iris.
I would not consider myself overly beautiful. But I had not had enough outside experience to provide comparison.
I turned on the faucet, cupping the cool water in my hands before throwing it onto my face.
I watched the water drip down my face. I released another breath, allowing the water to sooth my destress.
I tilted my head as an odd sensation tingled over my skin. Excitement with a mixture of thirst for more moisture. I threw another handful of water over my face noticing how water once again sent that sensation caressing down my cheeks.
I arched my eyebrow, starring at the droplets intensely.
I shook my head, before grabbing a face towel and drying my face off. I must really be tired if water was somehow fascinating me.
After a warm shower, I wrapped a soft towel around my body and stepped towards my dresser. My cupboard was filled with what I suspected a regular teenager was stuffed with. Mainly jeans and shirts.
Again, I did not have enough experience with the outside world in order to compare. I was basing my knowledge off of the movies I watched.
The sun was higher up in the sky now and after a brief glance at the clock I saw it was now after five, making it more normal time to be up.
I got dressed and stepped out into the hall way. In truth, I was late for my usual training, I hoped I would not be in trouble.
I walked towards the kitchen. I was hit with a rich delicious smell of pancakes and baked goods. My lips curved up as the smell filled my senses.
