I sat crossed legged again on the sand, but this time it wasn't for meditating.
After another hour Maxwell had turned in and I had told him I wanted to sleep in the waters tonight, to gather more strength.
Half true, I needed to stay closer to the water to gather strength, but I doubted I would be sleeping a wink tonight.
I sat inside a circle I had drawn into the sand. I had also drawn in different symbols around the circle. Across from me I had replicated the circle.
I sat finishing off the last symbol, immediately watching as both my circle and the one opposite me began to give off a slight glow.
I took in a deep breath, contemplating if this was the most logical idea, it felt like it was.
I began saying the enchantment in Enochian, once I completed the summons I watched as the circle in front of me began to glow brighter and brighter.
I squinted my eyes once the light seemed unbearable, it faded quickly revealing a tall masculine, silver haired Malaki.
He looked around examining his new surroundings, taking notice of the circle he was standing in. He wore a casual shirt now, with jeans. His feet ware bare, and besides his sharp facial features and eyes he looked almost human.
He stared over at me and huffed out in amusement.
"Miss me Princess?" He said curving the corners of his lips up.
I had done it, I was not sure, but It had worked.
"You are part demon." I stated in disbelief. The summoning circles could only be used on demons, for when people wanted to make deals.
"Does that frighten you?" He asked tilting his head in curiosity.
I didn't answer, but it didn't, it just made me more interested in what Malaki was capable of. What his weaknesses may be.
"I will be asking the questions." I said calmly gesturing for him to sit.
"In the sand?" He said sounding disgusted. I stared at him showing no hints of care. His jaw tightened until he eventually conceded and sat on the ground. He sat back with crossed legs and stared over at me.
I gave him a proud smirk. He was trapped in my circle until I released him. Once I broke the spell, he would be taken back to wherever he had been before, with no way to get back to me.
"Shouldn't have shown you my fucken wings." He breathed out with a frustrated tone.
I gave him no reply but maintained my placid smile. The Dark Prince, trapped by the Mermaid Princess. Had a ring of poetic Irony.
"Why do you have demon blood in you veins?" I asked sternly wondering if he would make a deal.
"I won't be answering that princess." He said calmly leaning his head back. He looked around at my island and up at the sky. His eyes narrowed and I realized he was trying to track me by the stars.
"You will not be able to find me purely based on the stars." I jabbed with a mocking tone.
His eyes fell back to me, "You would be surprised what I can find in the dark." I held his gaze for several seconds. I was not too concerned, part of Isaac's shield warped how the stars looked from in here.
"If you want me to release you, you will answer all my questions." I snapped creasing my eyebrows.
"You will release me once the sun rises." He said again with a relaxing tone.
