It was time to go. I pushed off the table I was leaning on and made my way to the exit.

I froze as the room transformed into complete darkness; I could no longer see where the door was.

I grabbed my dagger about to draw the symbol into my skin when I felt a force throw the knife out of my grip. The dagger quickly disappeared into the darkness, not making a sound when it should have landed on the floor.

I turned around until I saw Malaki across the room. He stood casually with his hands in his pocket now. The darkness did not engulf him from view. His white hair fell over his face. And His silver eyes traced me, as his lips curved upwards.

He tilted his head and smiled, "Marilla."

I began searching the room for energy, my energy. He strode towards me slowly. His arrogant smile never faulting.

But I felt it, and when I did, I grabbed onto it.

I looked at him through a hooded gaze and my lip began to curve up. He stopped in his tracks and stared at me In confusion.

As if from nowhere, water smashed into Malaki's face, the darkness immediately fading away and revealing the lightened-up bar.

I grabbed the water around Malaki's face and twisted my hand forming a trail of water that was tightening around his neck. I twisted further watching as the water made its way up his neck and towards his mouth. He froze taking his hands out of his pockets. With a few more twists I could drown him, and he knew it.

But I couldn't. Just twist your hand, I tried to order myself.

His Silver eyes traced my face, noticing that I had stopped. Before I could do anything, his hand flicked flying me across the room. I hit the wall with a solid thud feeling pain shoot down my back. I groaned out as I shook off the pain that shot through my head.

I saw Malaki walking towards me with death covering his face. I reached down to grab a dagger.

Malaki walked over to me and flicked his hand throwing my blades across the room.

He then lifted his hand sliding me up against the wall until my feet no longer touched the ground. I kicked and struggled, but it did not good.

I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath as I waited to feel pain. Or for him to kill me, that is what he had been wanting to do to me since I was born.

I should have just twisted and drowned him.

After several seconds nothing happened. I slowly opened my eyes to see Malaki, standing over me. His face inches away from mine. He was breathing heavily, and clenching his jaw. I noticed that his silver eyes had a dark grey line around them, and they got lighter the closer to his pupil.

He was not killing me though. I looked up at him through a hooded a gaze. What was he doing?

I searched the room again, looking for water, there was luckily a lot of it in the form of beer...

I twisted and pulled my hand letting a large ball of water hit Malaki, he released me from his telekinetic grip. He began shaking off the dripping alcohol from his body. "Bloody hell."

I took the moment as my exit; I made my way out the bar making a leap as I jumped over the steps that led up into the bar. I walked to an alley across the road grabbing my last dagger and started to carve the symbol into my hand.

I turned to see Malaki closing in on me. His white hair and leather clothes were completely drenched. He looked like drowned rat. A very angry drowned rat.
