We will meet again

After the tournament everyone gets back to Japan, I get off at the boat and look at all the fights. My chest warms and my heart sinks. This might be the last time I see and meet so many fighters, I hum lightly and look out at the ocean and the breeze moves through my hair. In a week I'm supposed to meet with minoru again to join his master. For now I miss my second mother, i smile and ohma walks up. " y/n " I turn and smile and hug him. " yes " he hugs me back tightly " stay in contact please " I giggle and nod. " I'll never forget you ohma, remember what I told you " he nods and waves me goodbye. I smile big and start to run home, I giggle and jump and flip from house to house, I land in front of my home, it's night already, I slid the door. " mama " silents fills the house, I walk around checking and then I grab my phone calling her. Someone else's picks up . " hello who is this" the woman explains to me, dread fills my body as she tells me, the old woman has been in the hospital for two weeks, I feel tears prick my eyes, hang up and run to the hospital, the nurses lead me to a room, I walk in hearing the low beeps, she hooked up to every possible machine, I cry and sit next to her and hold her hand. "Mama, mama please no " I cry and look at her face, she's pale and extremely skinny. I cry and look down. In a low voice I hear my name, I look up and the old woman is smiling. " my dear y/n " I smile through the tears " mama I won, I won for you, I did it mama " she rubs my cheek and I stay close. " mama please tell me what's wrong, why didn't you tell me before" the old woman chuckles. " I knew you try and rush home, I knew you wanted to win so bad and I just didn't know I wasn't so badly sick " I cry " mama I can't loose you," the old woman smile " yes you can my dear " I shake my head and cry more " no no no, please mama. I can't be alone again, I can't " I bow my head " please mama " the hold woman lifts my head. " my dear you know I'm old , age has caught up with me. I need you to understand that I love you and..." she stops talking and the monitor goes crazy, some doctors run in and I get pulled out. I cry and yell her name. I sit down and cry, I call minoru, he meets me and hugs me. " I can't loose her " he rubs my back and bends down and I rest my head on his shoulder. " y/n it's okay, it's okay" I cry and hide my face, I finally get a little more calm and another hour passes, I see a doctor come out, I get up and his face just drops. I back up " no no no please " I go passed him and see her body laying there. I cry and walk closer. " you promised I never be alone again, mama why " her body is cold and lifeless, but her face looks at peace. She passed with no pain, no worries , nothing. Minoru walks in, I turn and hug him crying. " we should get going, y/n she's in a better place " I cry and look at her and I see a necklace on her and it has my name, I grab it and open it, it's a photo of me and her from when we first meet, I smile lightly and cry and wipe my tears. " ooo mama" i kiss her hand " I'll see you again mama, rest now ". That night i leave with minoru and just never look back, my new life is in this world. After a week I put the necklace on, I'm sitting outside in the garden and I can see the sun about to set, the breeze danced around me as I looked up, it was as if the earth mourned with me, I close my eyes and smile as a tear runs down my face and to my chin. " it was all for you mama " I hear foot steps and see minoru with his hand in his pocket, I smile and look up one last time and get up walking towards him. He watches me. I hold his hand , rest my head on his arm." We should get going " He only huffing in agreement.
