Amy looked around at the large department store. Ian said she needed to look good for prom, but , to be truthful, she didn't want to go. At school, her middle name might as well be public humiliation. She walked down the long isles and realized she had no idea what she was doing. She opened her phone and skyped Natalie. She'll know what to do! thought Amy.
"What?" Natalie said as her face showed on the screen. "I'm picking out my earings for the dance."
"That's exactly why I need your help. Ian sent me to this...place to find a dress for prom-" Amy said as she got cut off.
"Say no more, turn your phone around so I can get a good look." Natalie said with exitement. "Okay, see that green one? Is it your size?" Natalie said.
"Ummmmm... I don't know. I shop at the thrift shop, not... where ever this is." Amy said, getting anoyed.
"Okay, we'll just have to experiment. Oooh! See that tangerine silk dress? Try that on too." Natalie said.
Amy didn't listen anymore. She just walked down the isles and grabbed the ones that Natalie told her to. Later, she tryed them on and sent a picture to Natalie who essentially picked it out.
"Now for the shoes, then the handbag, then the earings, and finally... a haircut. You have no idea how long I've been planning this. You are going to look perfect!" Natalie said with exitement.
"Hold up, I don't even have my ears peirced! How is that going to work?" Amy exclaimed.
"Well, you have to get them peirced sometime..."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Oooooooooooow! Ow ow ow ow ow ow! It hurts!" Amy screamed, her ear throbbing in pain.
"Well don't touch it, Amy! Chill, okay? Natalie demanded.
After Amy had gotten her dress, Natalie couldn't stand being on the phone that long. She took a cab and now they were in the city mall getting Amy's ears peirced.
"Hold still!" The peircer exclaimed. "I have to get this over with so it will stop hurting, okay. It will get done alot faster that way."
Natalie heard Amy murmur something about it being worth it and worst day ever. Natalie sat and watched without pitty; she had been in many Lucian interviews and had an iron stomach for it. It just really didn't bother her anymore.
"All done! Exclaimed the poor teenage girl, who's resembalance to Nellie was gigantic. The dyed hair up in spikes, the black t-shirt that had some metal band on it from some concert, the black lipstic, the spiked bracelet. They looked like they could be sisters.
Amy looked like she was going to cry, but then looked at Natalie with a level of hatred she had never seen before.
"You are going to pay for this." Amy said gesturing tword her ear.
"Hey, you wanna look good or no?" Asked Natalie.
"I am sooo leting these close after prom. I don't care how many times you ask. I'm already done with these..." Amy said, thinking how dreadful it would be to have heavy earings on next weekend. She winced as if she were wearing them right now.
"Okay, but for next years prom..." Natalie said, teasing Amy. That was a bad idea. Even though Amy said nothing, Natalie knew exactly what she was thinking.
Amy smiled and opened her texting icon on her phone. She pressed Send and reviewed the message.
Dan, I have a favor to ask. You will like this one. Prank war to the next level vs. Natalie. You will be glad you did, promise. Amy
Amy gave a smirk and walked twords Prada to get her ten pound earings. This time she was ready.
