A/N

Holy crap guys!! 6.94K reads!!! I'm hoping to have 7K reads when I finish this story. I think I'm gonna focus a bit more on the ships and stuff for a few chapters before I have some new info in on the enemy. Hope you have fun reading!!

Ian walked into the library. When he had seen Amy earlier that morning, it honestly broke his heart. She looked so sad, even though she did a good job for the most part trying to hide it. The thing about being a Lucian, was that he knew more than she thought he did.

Nothing had really happened between Cindy and him accept her not understanding that he wasn't interested in her anymore. Not that he ever really was in the first place.

All he had to do was to get Amy to believe that. Easier said than done.

It took him a few seconds to find her. She was laying in a ball on the couch with a book clutched to her chest and her earbuds in.

Even asleep with a bit of drool running down her face and her hair extremely messy, he could still truthfully say that she was the most beautiful human being his eyes had ever seen.

She was absolutely the best in every way. He did love her. He loved the way that she could always tell what he was thinking. The way that she would always know what to say to make him laugh or smile. She knew him better than he knew himself. He loved how smart she was and how she was painfully ignorant when it came to anything to do with clothing. He loved the vibrant green color in her eyes that would always light up a room.

He felt something warm on his cheek. Reaching his hand up to touch his face, he realized that there were tears streaming down his face. He could loose her so easily. There was a good possibility that she wouldn't take him back, and that was honestly his worst nightmare.

He needed her to live. She was the thing that was keeping him from just leaving. After the clue hunt he had an 'escape plan' as he liked to call it. It would get Natalie and him out of the country and no one would know who they were. They could just disappear.

He head it planned so they would end up somewhere in Canada in a cabin neighboring Alaska.

But then there was Amy. He couldn't just leave. Him falling in love want in the plan, but for once, he didn't mind.

A piece of hair fell into Amy's face and Ian couldn't help himself when he brushed it away from her face.

A small smile found it's way to his lips and, once again, he found himself not caring.

The tips of his fingers stayed on her forehead for longer than they needed to be, apparently, because Amy grabbed his hand and hugged it, snuggling farther down into the couch and using his arm practically for a teddy bear.

Ian chuckled quietly. He found it adorable.

"Go back to sleep, darling." he whispered.

Okay, that chapter honestly had no point to it but it was really cute. Short but sweet. I'm not going to be evil and end it that they're not together. Ian will win her back over and everything will be good.

One question, though. Do you guys want this story to be longer or shorter. Because I could end this book in about 5 chapters or I could continue the super long plot that I have planned that might get a little too long. The longer plot had a lot more drama, but so does three shorter one, too, I guess.
