Amy felt like crawling in a dark cave and sleep for a month. She had slept about six hours in two days. She slumped in her chair and was just falling asleep when she felt hands on her shoulders. She sat up and saw Ian stare down at her with a warm smile that melted any discomfort  she had. She hadn't seen him all day.

"You need to sleep. It's not healthy to be up so long. I know you're tired, love. I'm not leaving this room untill you got to sleep." Ian said with his trademark eyebrow ever so slightly lifted.

Amy stood up and hugged him. She loved the way he always rubbed her back when they hugged. "I thought this was all over. At least for a while. How have you done this since you were a little kid?"

"I was simply born into it. I never felt how it was not to be living like this. Trust me, you'll be fine, love." Ian explained and kissed her on the cheek.

"I'll go to bed. You go to bed, too. Goodnight," Amy said, trying not to sound exausted.

"Goodnight," Ian said, turning around, towards the door. He was almost out door but turned around and winked. He mouthed the words love you and left down the hallway.
