Chapter 59

Oh my goodness guys I am so sorry I haven't been updating like at all. Summer has been so busy for me since I've done a lot of traveling (Northern MN, Western MO, Mexico, Canada) and a lot of events (Warped tour if any of you know what that is, VBS at my church, Conventions) and I honestly have been too busy to even do any reading. But, here is the long awaited update!

"Are you sure you're okay? Comfortable and everything? Does anything hurt? Should I get you another pillow?"

Dan rolled his eyes at his sister's questions. It had been like this for the last few days; today especially. He was getting moved from the hospital wing back to his own bedroom for more privacy and freedom and his sister was about to have a panic attack for his safety. 

"I will be okay if you hand me the playstation controller" he said.

"Okay, but just text me or something if you need anything, alright? Anything at all." Amy fussed.

"You got it sis." Dan said as Amy passed him the remotes for his television. 

He readjusted in his spot on the bed and winced a bit as there was a pain in his back simply because he hasn't moved it in forever, but Amy seemed to think the world was ending as his face squinted. 

Amy gasped "Dan, be careful! You could hurt yourself." She scolded. Dan, once again, rolled his eyes and continued on with what he was doing.

Amy looked concerned, but realized that Dan had probably wanted some alone time and gave Dan a quick smile before muttering something about leaving him alone and walked off.

The past few days had been stressful and absolutely hectic. Amy had slowly been getting more and more involved in the whole plot of what all was happening.

With the entire CCC up and running and the mansion completely full with agents at their disposal, they had made significant advances in their progress. They had figured out quite a few new things about the organization that was running this attack on Cahills. It was an underground group of these people called The Unnamed. They had multiple headquarters around the world and they knew there was 150 of them, over 100 have been located. Someone had managed to hack into their database and find out when and where they planned their next attack.

The Cahill mansion was going to be attacked in 3 more days and Amy didn't quite know what to do. She knew the strategic planning and such. That was easy, teaching her brain to be calculated and on top of things. But the emotional part is harder than you'd think.

Dan was still in bad condition, even though he won't admit it. During all this chaos, Amy had just about forgotten about the drama between Ian and her and it was all just getting more and more confusing as the days go on.

She knew the game plan for this war though, sup she stuck to it. Amy knew that she couldn't just send everyone into battle, so she was careful with it. The Unnamed were planning on attacking the Cahill mansion, so that's exactly what would happen. While The unnamed thought they were smart and gathering up all their forces to attack the Mansion, Amy would have teams all across the world ready to strike down the higher-up headquarters The Unnamed have as well as defending the Cahill Mansion. Now ask that was to be done was having everybody ready to stage an attack and find out where exactly to attack.

"Nellie!" Amy called as her ex Au Pair went walking by. Nellie had somewhat become the person making sure she was filled in on what was happening. She knew what happened when it happened and she spread the word.

"Hey, kiddo what's up?" she asked somewhat cheerfully.

"I was just about to ask you that. What have I missed? Are we any closer to figuring out where we're attacking? What about armory and supplies and all that?" Amy inquired.

"Well we've got Intel on 134 of 150 bases. That's pretty good considering we have three days and that will be done by tonight. The Ekats are just about done with their whole body suit design and so there isn't much for the extras to do. All we have to work out is how we're gonna protect home here and what Dan's gonna do." Nellie commented in a questioning tone.  "You know he's going to want to fight."

"Yes, I'm aware. He's not going to get hurt though. I'll make sure of it."
