I want that kind of love,
That makes me feel,
The way poetry does,
A love where my emotions,
Can find its safest place,
Where my deepest thoughts,
Will no longer have to hide,
A love that ignites my passion,
A love that calms my storms.I want that kind of love,
Where I can pour my heart,
Without feeling empty after,
A love that stays with me,
During my darkest days,
I dream of that kind of love,
Where my soul feels belong,
The way poetry has given me,
A warm home in this cold world.I want that kind of love,
The same love I have for poetry,
For in my heart I know,
This kind of love will last.
