CHAPTER 5 : Things start to change and I hate it

JAMES POV 

I was sitting in my room on my comfy chair and thinking and thinking about the kids whose lives were in danger. Most of all Kevin and Malcolm. My thoughts were rudely interrupted by Xenolophius "Ah ! hello Xenolophius kindly have a seat"

he sat and was still staring at me and said "the prophecy's time has come but do you really think that we should let these kids volunteer for the quest in which they may be killed ??"

"Xenolophius you may not understand it but ya the living of the planet depends upon these kids but we may help them which we certainly will"

"Are you gonna change your Idea James ??"

"The answer shall remain the same even if you ask it to me a trillion times Xenolophius"

"Then we don't have anything to talk James" he said 

"Yes indeed" and he storms off the room and I heave sigh "Kids today"

MALCOLM POV 

At last the thing I wanted to happen finally did take place but not in the way I expected. I was running my tenth round with my friends with hardly any breath left. Of course we could have stopped running and he wouldn't have known. But Mr. Leonidas had the power to make many manifestation and a long eyesight so we decided to run fast so that we don't have to get whipped. At last we were finished and he called us through his whistle. We formed a rough circle around him and then he told us to climb the ropes. I tried to act smart by flying and got whipped at my butts "Owwwww" he wagged his fingers and said "No need to act smart boy or else another 20 rounds of the ground" That seemed to motivate me to no extent and I climbed the rope first.

Next we had sword practice, in which I partnered up with Kevin and we both were striking at each other constantly dodging, stabbing, dodging stabbing. Next we did archery which I did fairly well. My jaws dropped open when I saw Sam and Rose hit two bullseye out of three shots.

We continued to do these practices until 6 when we were told to wrap it up and go. I could barely walk. Some how he was not so exhausted from that or he was not showing it. It still hurt me where he hit me (I am not saying the name of the place again because I don't want to be a laughing stock).

Sleep. A wonderful thing that gives you rest. But alas ! I wasn't the lucky one to get some sleep. We had our dinner at 8:00 pm and had rushed to sleep but I was wide awake. I moved from one side to another in my bed but I didn't get any. I sat up and tried that yoga pranayama thingy that we were taught in Yoga but nothing helped instead I got a big sneeze which was loud enough to wake up anyone. Surprisingly no one did which proves that everyone was exhausted to their very limits.

I decided to have some fresh air and walk ONLY around the school campus. I took a flashlight and went out. Securities ?? No problem I just flew from the sky and landed. I liked walking around the grounds with thinking randomly or just seeing the stars. I closed my eyes taking in the fragrance of grass when the ground reverberated. I opened my eyes and saw a huge, huge HUGE flock of Vampires. I screamed "seriously man !! there are more vampires than humans in Russia !! I hate it !!!" 

They were trying to break through the shield with some zombies, wait were those zombies ?? Gods Hades himself won't have such a big army. 

I ran back to find the principal room but couldn't find it so I decided to wake up my Mr. Xenolophius he was sleeping in a pink room but I was not in the mood of making fun of him. I woke him up, he was grumpy and was shouting "Is this a way..." again there was big vibration that an Earthquake has come. his eyes widened in shock, he said "go and call the other teachers. Call the senior students also" and with that order she rushed out of her room. I went to my room and woke up all of my room pals. They were grumpy and I said "Vamps once again we gotta wake every teacher and seniors."

I heard Sam curse and he said Can't they come in daylight ??"

"Well as far as I know, they attack on night because that's the time when they are the strongest."

Rose nodded and said "Let's do this, we don't have much time"

and we rush out to bring the others.....

JAMES POV

I was sleeping when suddenly a strong rap came on my door. I opened my door with a cross look but then I saw that he was beaded with sweat.

"What now ??"

He grabbed my arm and led me to the window and pointed there.

It didn't need a genius to make out that there were thousands of vampires surrounding the campus which felt like the whole world has gone dark and they were trying to break through. 

"Call all the staff members and the advanced level students. Fast we don't have much time"

"I have sent Malcolm to do that"

I look at her dumbfounded and ask her "Don't tell me that he was the one who informed you about this"

He nods which gives confirmation to my fears that the time has come..............................

"James let's go"

He brings me back from my trance and I say "Ya let's get the weapon."

I click the button and a secret closet appears out of nowhere. I take my favorite weapon. Which could change into any weapon. I give one to her and say "Let's go"

ROSE POV

We have been running for hours now, going in every room. Mr. Xenolophius had told Malcolm to call the advanced level/senior students but had not told on which floor.

we have been up to every room now and the whole school was now glued to the windows to see the vampires. Ugh ! Vampires, monsters who kill innocents just because they have blood.

We finally find the advanced student's room and they all were already awake, taking up their weapons and preparing for the battle. Nobody seemed to notice six teenagers panting and hugging their stomach. Sam croaks "Vampires coming !! please hurry up !!"

"they all still ignored us and filed out of the room with us only then did they seem to notice us and one of them shouted at us "What the heck do you think you are doing ?? Go and sleep" 

Kevin says, "We were here to inform you about the vampire but it seems that you already know."

Another one of them says "Well they cannot even dream to break the shields, it is impossible"

"Oh then why I can feel the shields cracking ?? Please prove me wrong" 

And they all ran downstairs without answering my question.....................so rude.

We again go down and by the time I reach all the teachers and the students were assembled and were given weapons. Suddenly Mr. James sees us and comes to us and says "Well thank you kids but now you need to go" We just stare at him back and Malcolm says "But the childeren of our age..." 

He was cut in between because I screamed. the shields had been broken and there were all death creatures gliding towards us, I rose my hands and five vampires stopped in their tracks, at first they were confused but then their pain started, I was twisting their intestines and whatnot.
