Virgil sighed as he changed the laundry load out. This was part of his daily routine, wake up, make breakfast, clean the whole house, do the laundry, make lunch, clean the house again, make dinner, and through out the day he tends to the need of his stepsisters and stepfather.

Virgil's mother pasted a few years prior and left him with his abusive stepfamily.

Lately Virgil have been making dresses for his stepsisters, you see the prince is holding a ball for everyone in the kingdom to attend. One of his sisters, Rena's, dress is a short dark green dress with black underneath. His other sister, Janis', dress is a short yellow dress with black detailing.

Today Virgil has to go pick up his sisters' shoes. Rena's are black 6 inch heels. Janis' are white platforms.

Once Virgil arrived at the shoe store, he talks to the cashier, he gets the shoes and returns home.

Once night fell, Virgil had the dresses finished and ready to wear.

Virgil makes his way up to the attic and collapses onto the mattress. He soon fell into a light sleep.

The next morning, the day of the ball, Virgil wakes up to his stepfather screaming his name. Virgil sighs and makes his way downstairs. "Get the dresses into my girls' room, fag." His stepfather spat. Virgil nods and walks upstairs.

His moves the dresses into Rena's and Janis' shared room. "Finally, fag." Rena spoke. Virgil mumbled an apology before retreating downstairs.

"Sir?" Virgil spoke to Evan. Evan turned around to look at Virgil, "Am I aloud to go to the ball tonight?" He asked.

Evan scoffed before laughing, "You think the prince would want your little fag self at his ball? Please." Evan laughed.

"Wait the little fag wanted to go to the party?" Janis asked, earning a nod from Evan. Janis and Rena then busted out in laughter. "That's pathetic." She said through her laughter.

Virgil ran outside, hearing the taunting of his stepfamily. Virgil collapses onto the foundation side, crying into his arms. He hears the carriage pull up to his house and his stepfamily get in and leave.

Soon Virgil sees a glowing light beside him. He looks up and is met by the kind eyes of an elderly woman. She wore a light blue gown, her hair wrapped up in a tight bun, and she had white heels. A wand in her hand. "Now now dear, whip those tears." She flicked her wand and Virgil's tears were dry.

"W-Who are y-you." Virgil asked sitting up some. The woman smiled warmly.

"Well I'm your fairy godmother!" The woman answered with a bright smile.

"Fairy godmother? What?" Virgil asked looking up at the woman.

"Yes dear, your fairy godmother. I'm here to help you! Take you to the ball!" She spoke happily.

Virgil gave the woman a confused look, "I'm not aloud. I would love to, but I can't." The woman laugh slightly.

"Now dear, I'm here to let you go. And no one will know it's you. I promise." The godmother spoke, "Now let's get you dressed." She flicked her wrist and Virgil was on his feet. A light purple glow surround Virgil. His old ragged clothing turned into a beautiful ball gown. This dress was a mix of dark and light purple, the top was heart shaped, black detailing covered the top and ran down the the front right side. Black heels fit his feet.
