Virgil hid behind his mother's leg. Gripping her pant's leg, tightly. His mother finished signing the papers. "Ok, Virgil, you need to let go. They'll take good care of you. And I'll be back to get you this evening." His mother said.
"N-No! Ma-mama!" Virgil cried. One of the day care workers smiled gently at Virgil and picked him up. Virgil cried and reach towards his mother. "Mama!"
"Honey, I'll be back this evening. Call me if anything happens." Virgil's mom said to the worker.
The worker nodded and carried Virgil to where the other kids were playing. Virgil sniffled quietly as the woman sat him down.
The woman clapped twice, getting the attention of the other kids. "Everyone, this Virgil. He's very scared so show him some kindness." The woman said. The children nodded and went back to playing.
"Now, Virgil, I'm Miss Katey. If you need anything come to me." Virgil nodded and Miss Katey walked away.
A boy with light brown hair and wearing a prince style costume ran up to Virgil.
"Hi! I'm Prince Roman! But you can call me Roman!" The boy or Roman said.
"V-Virgil," Virgil whispered. Roman took Virgil hand and dragged him off to the side.
"Let's play Prince and Princess! You'll be the princess ok?" Roman asked. Virgil nodded with a small smile. "Remus! C'mere! We have a princess now!" Roman yelled. A boy who look just like Roman ran over.
"Yay! I'm Remus! Roman's twin!" The boy introduced. "We don't normally have a princess that Roman's saves. I'm the dragon!"

"C'mon! You can sit with me!" Roman said and took Virgil's hand, leading him to where Miss Katey stood.
"Wonderful, now today we are having pizza!" The kids cheered.
Virgil grabbed Roman's sleeve. "I can't have Pizza, it makes me sick." Virgil whispered.

"Yea, Roman?" Miss Katey answered, setting plates out for the children.
"Virgil can't have pizza. It makes him sick." Roman told her.
"You can't have it? How come, sweetheart?" Miss Katey asked.
"Mama said I'm lack-toes-in-tol-ence." Virgil answered. Miss Katey 'ohhed' to herself.
"You're lactose intolerant?" She asked. Virgil nodded before speaking.
"The cheese make me really sick. So does the bread." Roman hugged him.
"That's horrible! You can't eat pizza!" Roman almost yelled.
"Oh, you're also gluten free?" Katey questioned.
Virgil shrugged, "I guess, mama said I can't have bread or stuff gluten in it. Or any dairy product."
"Well, I'll call your mother, Virgil. And see what you can eat." Miss Katey said before walking over to her phone.
Roman took Virgil to a table where Remus and three other boys were. Roman sat down his food and helped Virgil get into his seat.
"Why aren't you eating? It's unhealthy to not eat." One of the boys said.
"I can't have pizza. It makes me sick." Virgil explained, "I can't have gluten or dairy, anything."
"That's so sad!" One of the other boys yelled.
"Oh, Virge! This is Logan," Roman pointed at the boy who spoke first. "Patton," Roman pointed to the boy who just spoke. "And Janus, but we call him JJ," Roman pointed to the last boy. "Guys, this is Virgil. My princess!" Roman smiled.
