Nightmare

Nightmares, Comforting Roman, blood, graphic content

Virgil sat up quickly, breathing heavily. He curled into a ball and cried silently into his knees.

Virgil had just woken up from a horrid nightmare, that kinda went like this,

Virgil walked through the mind palace. There was no sound, no jokes from Patton, no singing from Roman, no Logan telling them to shut up, nothing.

Virgil shuddered as a cold gust of air blew past him.

A creak sounded from behind him, "Hello?" Virgil called out. "Guys?"

Virgil moved through the mind palace. He heard laughing coming from Logan's room. He knocked before opening the door.

He gasped and almost puked at the sight. Logan was standing in the middle of the blood covered room, laughing hysterically. Roman and Patton lay on the ground beside him, dead.

Patton throat was slit and he had a knife in his heart. Roman had his sword stabbed through his mid-section and his head was busted open.

Virgil looked at Logan in horror. Logan smiled at him, creepily. Logan then lunged at him, earning a scream from Virgil.

Virgil then woke up in his bed.

Virgil cries got louder and there was a knock on his door. Roman walked in and sat down beside him.

"What happened, baby? What's got you so upset?" Roman asked gently. Virgil attached himself onto Roman.

"H-He k-killed you-u. Y-You were-e de-dead." Virgil stuttered out through sobs.

"Who killed me, baby? I'm fine, I'm right here." Roman said and asked.

"L-Logan. He k-killed you a-and Patton." Virgil whispered.

Roman 'oohed' and pulled Virgil into his lap. "Shh, baby. Logan didn't do anything, and he wouldn't. You just had a horrible nightmare." Roman hushed.

Virgil cries into his shirt, holding onto him tightly. Roman soothed Virgil, hugging him tightly.

It took awhile, but Virgil calmed down. "You feeling better now, baby?" Roman asked.

"Yeah, thanks." Virgil whispered back. Roman rubbed Virgil's back. Virgil curled into Roman. "I love you."

"I love you more, kitten." Roman answered. "Get some sleep now. I'll be right here the whole time."

Virgil nodded and laid down. Roman laid down beside of him, wrapping his arms around him protectively.
