Roman and Virgil do some painting

Virgil wanted to spend some more time with Roman, most definitely not because he had a crush on the side, totally not.

Virgil skipped up to Roman's room. He knocked on the door, it opened showing the prince.

"Hello, my chemically imbalanced romance! How may I help you this fine day?" Roman asked.

"I had an idea and was wondering if you'd wanna do it with me." Virgil said.

"I would love to! What is this idea you have?" Roman asked, grandly.

"Well, I was thinking like a big poster board or canvas, then just, y'know painting it. Or throwing paint at it, and making at abstract art like thing." Virgil explained.

Roman gasped and smiled brightly, "That is an incredible idea, Anxy! We can do it in the imagination! I'll conjure some huge canvas and lots of paints, all the colors!" Roman told him.

Virgil giggled and nodded. He allows Roman to drag him to the imagination.

Roman throws the double doors open and leads Virgil into an open field. He snaps and two canvases appear of two art stands.

He snaps again and multiple buckets of paint appear with every size paint brush imaginable.

"There we are!" Roman said, happily.

Virgil grabbed Roman sleeve. "Could you change us into something else, so we don't ruin our clothes?" Virgil asked.

"Oh! Yes, of course!" Roman said before snapping. He changes into a white tank top and some red joggers. Virgil was dressed in a purple short sleeved shirt and a pair of black short shorts.

"Do these work, Virgie?" Roman asks, looking at the blushing trait.

"Y-Yeah. But do I have to wear these. They're kinda short don't you think?" Virgil said, pulling the shorts down.

"Oh, sorry V, I can make them a bit longer. You look cute in those though!" Roman told him.

Virgil turned a slightly darker red. "You really think so?" He asks.

"Of course, V! I think you cute in everything you wear!" Roman says. Virgil blushed even darker but smiled at the prince.

"Then I guess I'll keep the shorts." He said.

"Really? Are you sure? I can make them longer if you don't like them." Roman said.

"No, I don't mind them. I just was worried you'd think I look weird or something." Virgil mumbled the end of the sentence.

"I would never! You think so good in everything, baby!" Roman covered his mouth at the end. "Sorry, you probably don't like that."

"No, no I did." Virgil answered. Roman smiled and took his hand.

"C'mon these won't paint themselves!"

Virgil laughed and grabbed a brush.

The two spent the next hour throwing paint on the canvases and each other.

Virgil dropped some paint into Roman's hair, laughing as he did.

Roman laughed too and tackled Virgil to the ground. He held the anxious trait close to him and sighed.

Virgil snuggled to close to Roman, taking in his warmth. "I love you, Virgil."

"I love you too, Roman.
