Horrid dream

Another bad dream story
Scary content I guess, kinda graphic, crying, comfort to Virgil from Roman

~The dream~

Virgil laid in his bed, looking up at the bloody handprints and the blood smears that covered the walls around him. He rolls over carefully.

Standing in the corner of the room was a big, black, shadow figure.

Virgil slowly gets out of bed and walks over to the figure.

The figure grabs him by the arms, tightly. It's starts shaking him, violently. Muffled screams erupt from Virgil's throat.

The figure scratches at his arms, chest, and face.

The figure opens its mouth. Sharp teeth lines it's gums. The shadow smiles, creepily. Before lunging forward towards Virgil's face.

A scream echoed the room before it all went black.

~Out of dream~

Virgil sat up quickly in bed. Tears stream down his face, his breathing heavy and he's shaking.

His bedroom door opens and the other three sides run in.

Roman wraps his arms around Virgil. "Shh, shh, baby, I got you. What happened?" Roman asked him.

"N-Nightma-mare." Virgil stuttered. Roman nodded and waved the other two out of the room.

Virgil buries his face into Roman's chest, sobbing.

Roman rubs his back before pulling him into his lap. "You wanna tell me about it, dear? I'm all ears."

Virgil explains the dream through choked tears. After he finished Roman holds him tightly. "Oh, baby. I'm so sorry you dreamt that. But I've got you now. It's all ok now."

"C-can I-I stay with you-u? I d-don't wanna be a-alone." Virgil said.

"Of course you can, my love. C'mon I'll carry you there and get you a glass of water." Roman answered.

Roman picked Virgil up and brought him to his room. Roman lays Virgil down on the soft red blankets.

He leaves the room before returning with a glass of water and a cookie.

"Here you are, lovely. Drink this and eat the cookie." Roman said before handing Virgil the water and cookie.

Virgil sat up and took the stuff. He eats the cookie and drinks the water before pulling Roman down onto the bed.

He cuddles into Roman chest. "Thank you, Princey. I love you."

"Always, baby. I love you too. Now get some sleep, you need it." Roman responded.

Virgil nodded before going to sleep.
