Military Roman

Roman was drafted into the army. His boyfriend, Virgil, has been worried sick about him.

Today, Roman was released from the army, he had the Purple Heart ribbon attached to his suit, meaning he showed true bravery and suffered an injury.

Roman was shot in the chest, not killing him, just wounding him greatly. He pushed another solider out of the way and took the blow for them.

Roman was sent home after this injury. He has a scar across his right peck.

And now, he's standing in Virgil's first period classroom,Virgil is still in college, waiting for him to walk in.

The teacher is very pleased to see Roman and happy to have him home.

Meanwhile with Virgil,

Virgil was running a bit late but he made it to class on time.

He opens the door and walks in, only to stop on his tracks.

He drops his stuff and runs over to Roman. Roman catches Virgil and hugs him closing. The classroom claps and cheers.

Virgil cries into Roman's shirt, hugging him tightly.

"Oh my god, Ro." Virgil sniffled. Roman chuckled some and kept Virgil close.

"Hey, baby, you miss me?" Roman asked.

"Missed you!? I was worried sick and couldn't stop thinking about you!" Virgil said making Roman laugh.

"That's sweet, baby. I thought about you too, a lot." Roman said back.

"I thought you were dead. You stopped sending letters." Virgil whispered.

"I'm sorry, baby. I was... busy, to say the least." Roman told him.

Virgil catches a glimpse of the Purple Heart. Virgil pulls off of Roman some. He grabs Roman hand and pulls him out of the room.

Virgil pushes Roman against the wall and takes the Purple Heart ribbon off. "W-What happened?" Virgil asked.

Roman sighed and placed his hand on Virgil's cheek. "I was injury, baby. But, I'm alive." Roman said.

Virgil looked up at Roman with teary eyes. "Where?" He squeaked out.

"Where what, baby?" Roman asked.

"Where did you get hurt?" Virgil whispered. Roman sighed and moved Virgil back some. Roman buttoned his suit and moved it to reveal the scar.

Virgil gasped and ran his fingers across Roman's chest. He planted a soft kiss on the scar. "Oh, Ro." Virgil whispered.

Roman smiled and button his suit back up. "Baby, I'm fine, alright?" Roman said, "I'm here and I'm alive. I won't be going back either."

Virgil nodded and hugged Roman tightly again. "I love you, so so much."

"I love you too, kitten. You wanna get out here? Get back to our place?" Roman asked.

Virgil nodded and let Roman lead him to his car. Roman drives them home and into the house.

They both lay down on the bed, cuddling. "Ro? Would you change out of you suit, please? It brings back memories." Roman nodded and got out of bed.

He changed into a pair of sweatpants only then crawled back in bed with Virgil.

"Thank you." Virgil whispered. Roman nodded and kissed Virgil gently.

"Always, kitten. I want you happy, safe and comfortable with me." Roman said back.

"I'm so glad you're back home."

"I'm glad to be back."
