30: The bench

Ayup, I'm trying to push out as many chapters as I can but I kinda want to figure out where this story is going to it's less hard for me to write. I've almost finished the rough draft. I'm also dyslexic so it's a lot harder for me to write. But I hope you enjoy!!

I got out the shower, my hair was very much wet. I hated it when my tail got wet but I felt too dirty not to shower. I changed into my clothes. My hair was still very wet so I put it up in a towel. I walked out the room to see Tommy.

"Hi Y/n" he said waving. I waved.

"Hello Toms, you going in next?" I asked pointing to the door behind me. He nodded.

"Yup thanks Y/n" he said planting a kiss on my forehead. Although we kissed a lot it still always gave butterflies in my stomach.

"Where are Ranboo and Tubbo?" I ask.

"Oh they went off to get clothes they'll be back soon" said Tommy. I nodded.

Tommy went past me. I took off the towel from my hair. I walked outside and sat on the bench. I sighed and looked to the sky. The sun was beating down on my, the sky was a beautiful shade of blue. Not a single cloud in the sky.

I shook my hair a bit to let it dry. The wind kinda helped dry up my hair. But I mostly enjoyed the silence and the soft chirping of the birds.

I closed my eyes to just take everything in. I took a deep breath and exhaled softly, keeping my eyes closed. I hear footsteps and opens my eyes. It was just techno.

"Hello techno" I said.

"Hello, did you guys rent a motel?" He asked. I nodded.

"It's a beautiful day out today, but we need to plan later today. Keep holding up" he said placing a hand on my shoulder and walking into the motel.

I nodded. I closed my eyes again and relaxed. I felt a hand grab mine. I opened my eyes to see Tommy.

"Hey toms" I sad turning my head to face him. He smiled.

"Hey Y/n" said Tommy squeezing my hand. I smiled at him. His wings were wet so he spread them out to dry.

"It's a beautiful day today" I sighed. Tommy nodded.

"It feels like it's been forever since we've gotten to relax" I said leaning my head on Tommy's shoulder. Tommy leaned his head on my head. His hair was still wet but I didn't mind.

I closed my eyes again and breathed in the air. It was almost therapeutic, Tommy did the same. I squeezed his hand and turned my head towards him.

"I love you Toms" I said, Tommy smiled and squeezed my hand back.

"I love you N/n" said Tommy. I picked my head up and Tommy quickly kissed me. I smiled and leaned my head back on his shoulder.

We stayed there in silence. It was calming. Although all of us were extremely tired and sad all we really could do was silently honor Jack and carry on.

Tommy kissed my forehead. I looked up to him. He smiled at me.

"We should go inside, we have a long day today" said Tommy quickly kissing me and getting up.

"Ok" I said standing up. I stretched my arms, I felt the hairs on my tails stand up, that always happened when I got a good stretch. Tommy stretched out his wings and we walked inside.

"Should we ask the others what they want to eat?" I asked Tommy nodded.

"Yeah they should be inside their rooms" Tommy said, I walked over to Niki, Techno and Wilbur's room. I opened the door.

Everyone was sat playing go fish. They all looked at us nervously.

"Uhhhh you wanna play?" Asked ranboo looking at us nervously. I burst out laughing.

"We came in to ask if you guys wanted to go eat" said Tommy gasping still laughing.

They set down their cards and nodded.

"Yea I'm hungry" said tubbo, they set down their cards and stood up. We all decided on a local ramen shop that they had across the corner.

We all sat and ordered out food. They brought our food and we all ate it.

"So what are we going to do now?" Asked Tubbo with a mouth full of ramen. Wilbur slapped the back of his head.

"Don't eat with your mouth full!" He said tubbo wined and rubbed the back of his head.

"We are leaving tomorrow to the monument, there is a doc nearby where we can travel by water." Said techno. Ranboo nodded.

"Did you say travel by water" Said Ranboo nervously.

"Yes" said Tommy scoffing down his ramen.

"Uhhh I hate water travel" said Ranboo gulping, tubbo stopped eating too.

"Uhh me too" said tubbo nervously.

"You guys will be fine, we are literally going out to meet eye to eye with the most powerful being on the planet and you are worried about" I said. Niki choked on her food from laughing.

"She has a point" said niki laughing covering her mouth trying not to spit out food. I chuckled.

We joked on a bit and we finished out food. We all walked back into our motel rooms.

I plopped on the bed. I wasn't that tired but the bed was still very refreshing. Tommy plopped next to me.

"I missed you" I said. Pressing my face into the mattress, I was very excited to finally sleep on a bed again.

"I'm right here" said Tommy sarcastically. I laughed.

"I missed you too for the 5 minutes we were apart" I said laughing.

"It was a very long 5 minutes" said Tommy pouting. I chuckled. Tubbo and Ranboo came in laughing and talking.

"Hey guys" I said lifting my head from the bed.

"Hey, you guys tired already" said Ranboo. Tommy nodded.

"Oh ok it's pretty late. Me and Ranboo will just stay on the floor, we planned to play cards. You too can sleep" said tubbo. Ranboo nodded and sat down with a deck of cards.

I ruffled my hair and pulled the blanket over my legs. Tommy layed next to me. I faced the wall and Tommy faced my back. I sighed.

"Good night guys, you two don't stay up to late" I said fixing the blanket and shifting my sleeping position and closed my eyes.

I felt an arm wrap around my waist. Tommy wrapped his wings around me too. He was holding me close to his chest. He nuzzled his head into the crook of my neck, and blew on my neck. I giggled.

"Don't do that" I whispered while chuckling. Tommy chuckled and kissed my cheek. I closed my eyes again. I could feel his hot breath on my neck and cheek. Tommy put his second hand on my hair and played with my hair.

I dozed off to the sound of cards and Ranboo and tubbo playing BlackJack.
