13: Split and Wood

Tommy groaned.

"Good morning" I said teasingly. He looked up and got a bit surprised I was awake but smiled.

"Good morning" Tommy said placing my hand on his cheek. I chuckled. I tried to sit up but it was too painful.

"No you probably should stay laying down" Tommy said. I shook my head.

"No I got this" I said successfully sitting up. But it did hurt.

"Are you ok, you could've died out there" Tommy said. I chuckled at his concern of my health. But it was sweet.

"I'm fine, it only stings. And if I wanted to die I would've done it a long time ago" I said. Tommy still looked concerned. Just then Niki walked in.

"Hello! Are you feeling alright now?" Asked niki. I nodded and she had a tub of water.

"What's with the water?" I asked. Niki pulled out a vile of medicine.

"I'm going to use it to push the medicine into your blood stream faster so you heal quicker" said niki.

She smiled and dumped the vile into the tub of water. Then she made it levitate. I was astonished by this. She then signaled it towards my wound. It stung a bit but didn't hurt too much. I thanked niki and she left me and Tommy alone.

"Thank you" Tommy said. I almost physically said 'awww'.

"For what?" I asked chuckling.

"For saving my life again.... it was my fault you got shot." Said Tommy, I knew he was wrong.

"No it wasn't, It was nobody's fault. If anything it was mine I wasn't looking out for any survivors" I said grabbing Tommy's hand trying to comfort him.

"Thank you Y/n but I can't help but feel guilty" said Tommy hanging his head down. I sighed.

"I know you will" I said. Tommy looked up I smile softly to lighten the mood.

Then the others walked in.

"What have you two been up to!!??" Asked tubbo as he walked in with everyone else.

"Nothing just chatting" I said. Techno came up to me.

"Are you ok?" I nodded.

"Good" he said sternly. Tubbo reached out his hand for me to grab. I grabbed it and used it to pull myself off the bed.

"Ok so off we go I guess" said Jack. Everyone nodded but I was confused.

"Where are we going?" I asked. Ranboo handed me a small vile.

"Drink this. And we are going to see if we can get the maps or location of where the water temple is." Ranboo said. I chugged the vile and nodded.

"Problem is me and Ranboo can't go into water, so we need to venture into a desert temple in hope that we will be lucky an find-" Jack started but was cut off by tubbo.

"An enchanted book, then we can get it on their armor and they should be fine" said tubbo. Jack glared at him after being cut off.

"Sorry.." said tubbo. Which made the rest of us chuckle.

"So we need to find one of those first?" Niki asked. Techno nodded.

"We plan to go to the desert temple. Then get to the water temple. And after venture to the mansion to get the totem. And lastly go to the nether for rods and to the end" said techno. I nodded.

"So do we leave now?" I asked. Techno nodded.

"Yes but right after we get the maps" said techno. And we went over to the market place.

We spotted a sketchy man, he had a cart and wore a long jacket.

(Not gonna lie I forgot Wilbur came with them too)

"Hello?" Asked Wilbur poking his head out of the wall next to the man. He jumped.

"AH- who are you?" Asked the man. Techno bared his sword.

"We wish to visit a Mansion and The Water Temple, do you have the map to those ancient builds?" He asked. The man gulped.

"Yes I do, but for a price" said the man. Tommy sighed.

"How much are they?" Tommy asked. The man chuckled.

"For the water temple we need a heart of the sea. And for the mansion I want 100 emeralds" said the man. Tommy was nervous, I could tell.

"Sir, we only have 50 emeralds. And how do we even get a heart of the sea?" Asked Tommy opening the bag of emeralds.

"You can get heart of the seas by venturing under water and killing drowned zombies. And for the emeralds. Talk to me when you've collected them" said the man. Ranboo held back tubbo.

"Tubbo it's fine we will get the money in no time." Said ranboo comforting tubbo because he was obviously pissed.

"Ok we should split up, niki, me, and tubbo will get the heart of the sea. Ranboo, and Jack will go mining for coal to sell. And Y/n and Tommy will get wood." Said techno. We all nodded and split up.

Me and Tommy made it to a near forest. Techno and tubbo had lended us their axes so this should be easy.

"Do you even know how to cut trees?" I asked jokingly at Tommy. He glared at me.

"I- yes I do" he said swinging at the tree and completely missing.

"I think you do" I said chuckling.

"Tommy you grab the axe at an angle. Then you swing back. Twist your leg and swing with your arms in a baseball motion" I said showing him. Tommy mimicked my movements and managed to get a good swing at the tree.

"SEE YOU DID IT!!" I said laughing. Tommy chuckled.

"I guess I did, thank you Y/n" said Tommy. I nodded.

"No problem Toms-" I said realizing what I just called him.

"Toms?" Asked Tommy laughing. I was embarrassed.

"Sorry I didn't mean to call you that-" Tommy cut me off.

"No I like it" said Tommy smiling. I blushed but quickly turned away so he wouldn't notice.

"Is there a name I can call you?" He asked. I turned to him.

"Uhh you can call me N/n" I said. Tommy nodded.

"I like that nick name" said Tommy which again made me blush.

"Hey can you even swing the axe if your hurt?" Tommy asked worried.

"I kinda can but it hurts" I said. Tommy grabbed the axe from me.

"You can pick up sticks" said Tommy. I glared at him.

"I don't wanna, I want to cut trees though!!" I said trying to grab the axe from him.

"NOPE!!" He said teasingly.

I am so sorry for not posting 2-3 times yesterday. I was busy :(. But I promise today much more will come out I promise.
