33: A game of speed

How is everyone doing great this fine evening. And pog I'm getting back into my old upload schedule. So I'm thinking of doing 3/5 today to make up for not posting yesterday so enjoy 😩🤚✨.

Techno came in while me and Tommy were talking, I looked over to him to see him holding his trident menacingly.

"Wake the others to eat" said techno I nodded and went over to the others beds.

Tommy woke up tubbo and Niki and I woke up Wilbur and Ranboo.

"Wake up Ranboo" I said poking him. He lifted his head a bit.

"Hmmm what happened?" Said Ranboo sleepily.

"We are going to go eat" I said whispering he nodded and slowly got up from his uncomfortable position.

I went over to the top bunk that had Niki sleeping soundly on it. I shook her a bit and she looked over to me sleepily.

"Hello Y/n" she said sluggishly.

"We are going to go eat" I said, she nodded and got down from her bed.

I quickly fixed my hair and walked out with the others. Techno sat there with a bunch of plates of bread and other foods. I sat down with the others and looked at the food. Tommy seemed to be very hungry because he immediately dug into his food.

"We are coming close to the monument we should be able to arrive there tonight, but it would be the best choice to leave in the morning" said techno I had a mouthful of bread but nodded.

"Are we all set with gear?" Asked tubbo just trying to take caution.

"We should be ok, Niki has everything potion wise for us to use so we should be fine." Said techno.

I quickly chewed up the rest of my food. Everyone was mostly done. Niki was mixing potions and checking up on her arm every now and then. Which had healed up quite a bit.

Ranboo was throwing up towards the side of the boat. Along with tubbo who was feeling very dizzy so he too a very long nap so he wouldn't throw up.

Techno was too busy reading it manning the boat. He always made sure nothing could cause us it the boat danger. Wilbur was usually hanging with us or him and Tommy went to annoy Techno.

I usually stayed inside chilling and Tommy came over a couple times to annoy me or ask for a kiss when no one was looking.

Tubbo woke up and came up to me while I was watching the others yell at each other and annoying techno.

"Hey you want to play a card game?" He asked holding up a tattered box of cards. Wilbur snapped his head to see the box of cards.

"LETS PLAY SOLITAIRE!!" He said grabbing the box. Tubbo tried to grab it back while I started laughing. Tommy came up laughing at tubbo trying to grab the cards from Wilbur.

"Guys why don't we play a simple game, like a speed tournament or something?" I asked, they looked at me. I was confused at why they all stared at me like I had murdered Ranboo. He was still throwing up during this.

"THATS A GREAT IDEA!!!!" Said niki grabbing the box and sitting down at the table we had eaten on before.

We all sat around.

"What is speed?" Asked Tubbo. I taught him how and after he had understood we put him up against someone.

It was Niki vs. Tubbo, Wilbur vs. Me, and Tommy vs. Ranboo. Once he stopped throwing up.

Niki set up the cards and shuffled them. She split the cards 20:20 and placed down 2 in the middle and 5 on each side. The game works by you flip the 2 cards in the middle, 5 in your hand, and the other 15 next to you. You flip the 2 in the middle and have to place down the card that is one bigger than the card or a smaller one. Like for example if there is a 3 you can put a 2 or 4. But you can only have 5 cards in your hand after that you can not grab more from your put aside 15. When you get stuck and don't have a card to use you have to wait for the other person to get stuck and you flip the card from one of the five. First person to lose all cards tells 'SPEED' and they win.

Tubbo caught on to it quite fast and beat Niki. Next up was Wilbur and Me. I had a bit of a slip up which caused me to lose my spot of winning. Then it was Tommy vs. Ranboo, Ranboo was quite new to the game so he lost to Tommy. Then we decided to do Tommy vs. Tubbo and whoever won goes against Wilbur.

Tommy won against Tubbo and it was lastly Wilbur vs. Tommy. It was an intense game, but it ended fairly quickly. I was shocked to see Tommy throw down his card and yell.

"SPEED!!" We all looked at the empty hand of Tommy and the one card in Wilbur's hand.

"HOW THE-" said Wilbur surprised.

"WHAT DO I WIN??" Said Tommy celebrating. Wilbur was glaring at Tommy.

"A punch in the face" said Wilbur scowling. I laughed.

We played a couple more tournaments. Tommy won 1, I won 1, Wilbur one 2, and Niki one 2. After we were done yelling and messing around techno came down from his desk. None of us had seen how late it had gotten.

"You guys should get to bed we are fairly close" said techno. We all agreed to go to bed before we got there and headed to the monument.
