50: The three fiances

Praise our queen. Ok here is more content. Bye :). And we hit #1 on #soulmate and guys a big appearance happens in this chapter. And more other characters will just come up. ;)

We looked around the dark place, the air was humid and it smelt of dead animals. I bumped into something, which turned out to be a chest. I opened it to see some iron and gold.

"What is it?" asked techno. Ranboo moved the torch to the chest.

"Gold and iron, we need that?" I asked. Techno shook his head.

"It'll weigh us down, let's keep moving." He said. I nodded and closed the chest.

We advanced forward. Tommy squeezed my hand, I looked over to him and smiled. I noticed he was a bit nervous. But who wasn't.

We walked over to a light. We were concerned and stood our ground just in case it was something dangerous.

"What is making that light?" asked Tubbo reading his daggers.

"I don't know," said Ranboo nervously. He also readied his axe. I did the same, I grabbed my bow. It had been a while since I used it, but this could be could practice. Tommy readied his sword, and the others did as well.

I walked into the room, I looked around to see a small library. It was lit with torches, but the question is..... Who lit them.

I kept my guard up, I heard a yell come from the top of the library.

"EYYYYYYY YOU CAME!!!!" said a man, his hair was neatly tucked into a beanie, and dressed like a divorced dad. He was covered in dirt, but that wasn't new to us. He was awfully short compared to the rest of us. I mean Tommy and techno were 6,3. Wilbur was 6,5. And Ranboo is 8,5. I don't think anyone could beat that.

"WHO ARE YOU!!" said Techno raising his sword to his throat. The man gulped.

"I'M SAVED!!! I'M OUT THIS SHlT HOLE!!!!" the man said, kicking rocks and dry meat.

"Who are you?" I asked, trying to calm him down.

"You have no idea how long I've been stuck in here. I've been here for over 2 years. I came here during the war. With my people, we searched for a place to stay away from the chaos. And we landed here. Where most of us died and we wandered for years. YOU NEED TO GET OUT!!" said the man, he was holding a bandana and a multi colored hoodie.

The war happened over 1000 years ago. Was this man crazy?

"What's your name?" asked Tommy a bit shaken. But he was trying his best to keep calm.

"My name is Alex. My Fiances called me Quackity. Or they used to." He said sitting down in a corner and holding the clothing in his arms. I noticed two gold rings on his left hand.

"Did they die?" Niki comforted the man. She handed him a bottle of water.

"I don't know, we split to find the exit. They each handed me something to remember them by if they did not make it.

"Wait, are you part of the ducks, didn't they die mysteriously after the war?" I said, techno nodded.

"Yes, my fiance's names were Sapnap, who was part blaze. And Karl, he was human but he was special." said Alex. He was obviously choking back tears, which broke my heart.

"I know where the exit is." said Wilbur.

"How did you remember that?" asked Tubbo, Wilbur lifted his hand to see a chalk.

"Follow me Alex." he said. The man lit up and got up.

"WAIT REALLY? MAYBE THEY GOT OUT SAFELY? LETS GO!!!" said the man. Wilbur led the man towards where we came in.

"I wonder if they just couldn't find him and carried on together?" I said picking up a rock from the floor.

"Maybe, but they could already be dead." said Ranboo. I looked towards him.

"It's worth a try, the poor man was losing his mind." I said running my fingers along the carvings in the wall. I figured he counted what he thought were days.

Some time passed and Wilbur came back with the man and two other guys.

"Wait how did they..? What? Who are they?" Asked Tommy confused.

"Times are different for everyone, for him it was 2 years. So he never aged. For the others it was only a couple of days in here. But they came out at the same time. They most likely spotted them because there are many exits and entrances to the Stronghold." Said Techno. I nodded.

"So they were lucky that their timelines crossed?" I asked.

"Exactly." said one of the fiances he had goggles on his head and now the old jacket I saw Alex holding. They were laughing and hugging each other.

"Thank you," said alex. He handed me a book. It was an enchanted book.

"It's a feather falling, it'll save you from dying. A book mastered by my people. Take it." said the guy. I nodded and grabbed the glowing book.

"Wait!!!! By any chance do you know where the portal entrance is?" asked niki. The one with a bandana lifted his hand and lit all the torches. I looked at this in awe.

"That's the way. Good luck." said the bandana guy. Who I finally identified as Sapnap. And the other Karl.

"And here, I may be just a human but I have something of value." Said Karl. he reached into his pack and lifted a compass.

"With magic it can lead you home. But it doesn't work in the stronghold." said the guy. He placed it in my hand along with the book.

"Good luck." all three of them said. They followed the chalk out.

I turned to look at tommy.

"That was the best gay couple Ive ever met." I said handing the book to Techno, he handed it back.

"No he gave the stuff to you. Use it." he said sternly. I nodded, Niki grabbed the book and enchanted my boots.

"What is it supposed to do- WOAH" I said as the wings came out my boots. It reminded me of hermes.

"Ok we should get heading." said Wilbur. I nodded and followed the torches.

Soon enough we made it to a big room. And sat in the middle was a green glowing portal. Techno placed all 12 eyes, to which the portal lit up. I looked over at Tommy, who was still squeezing my hand. I looked at the others and nodded.

Then we all jumped....
