38: Did you hear that?

Hey guys, I'm back from my hole. i have more content for you. And dang I've written 38 chapters. And all of them are 1k+ words. I probably have written about 41,800+ words. HOLY COW. Any way I hope your enjoy.

I woke up to a lurch in the currents which what had seemed had waken almost everyone. Niki, Wilbur, Ranboo and me and Tommy were awake. Tubbo was sound asleep.

I had forgotten Tommy was lied next to me. I turned around to see Tommy slowly opening his eyes. He groaned in protest.

Everyone was looking at me and Tommy. Tommy was hugged close to me and I our hair was messy and disturbed.

"I- are we just going to ignore that?" Asked Ranboo looking at me and Tommy. Tommy was still half asleep and flipped off Ranboo. I chuckled.

"Well ok then, but what was that?" Asked Niki trying to sway the conversation.

"I have no idea, should we go ask Techno?" Said Wilbur in a tired and soft tone.

"I volunteer Ranboo to go" said Tommy lifting his hand up and then grabbing me again to lay back down.

"I- ok then" said Ranboo as everyone else lifted their hand.

Ranboo's POV

Everyone had sent me out to go see what had happened. I saw Techno on the ships wheel playing with the small fox on his lap.

"I-Techno?" I asked both confused and curious.

"Oh hi Ranboo" said techno straightening out his cape.

"Hi, Do you know what was that huge lurch we felt?" I asked trying to avoid talking about the fox.

"Oh we are here"' said techno motioning his arm to the front of the boat. I looked over to see the original dock and our horses.

"Oh! ill go tell the others then" I said thanking techno and walking over to the others.

Ranboo left and everyone was eyeing me and Tommy.

"What?" I asked they were a staring dead at us.

"Oh- nothing its just unusual to see you guys umm ya know?" Said Niki nervously.

"We are dating fvck off" said Tommy from behind me this time flipping Niki off. I laughed.

"That's one way to say it" said tubbo sluggishly.

"Oh hi Tubbo!!" Said Niki sweetly. Tubbo waved at her.

"What was happening-" Tubbo was cut off by Ranboo bursting thought the door.

"We are here!!" He said excitedly, we all looked at him wide eyed. Niki jumped up and followed Ranboo out. We all followed but Tommy was being clingy.

"Toms we have to get up" I said trying to get up from his grasp.

"I don't want to" he said groaning and hugging me closer.

"Ok Tommy no more cuddles, kissed, no-" I was cut off by Tommy.

"AHHH ok let do this!!!" Said tommy sitting up. I laughed.

"You're mean" said Tommy. i chuckled and sat up. We both walked out the dorm and poked over to the dock and everyone with the food and clothes getting ready to set them up.

"HEY YOU GUYS NEED HELP!!?" I asked and ran towards them.

We packed everything on the horses. We ate a quick breakfast. We set up camp in a forest that was nice and smelt like fire wood and and pine wood.

We set up the campfire and set down everything. Techno had brought Fiona so I didnt have to worry about her.

We tied up the horses and sat down around the camp fire. Wilbur brought out his guitar. Although the guitar was a bit worn out and scratched out it still was fun to sing around.

The fire kept us warm and we set up our tents for the night. We planned to take a break from everything.

I leaned my head on Tommy's shoulder and watched the small animals scurry and Fiona try to catch wild birds.

Tommy stopped talking to look at me leaning my head and quickly kissed my head.

"AWWWW" said Niki, Tommy glared at her.

'Shut it" said Tommy unamused. I chuckled.

"I'm going to go get the obsidian that we will need so stay here. Wilbur you are in charge." Said Techno. i nodded.

"HEY WHY CANT I BE IN CHARGE?" Said Tommy i lifted my head and laughed.

"Because no one can trust you, and you distrusted your girlfriend" said techno, I was laughing but Tommy was glaring at Techno as he took one of the horses and left.

"I did not disturb the girlfriend" Said Tommy pouting. I chuckled.

"How come you guys never told us you were dating?" Asked tubbo with a mouthful of bread.

"Because you guys would make it weird" said Tommy.

"No. Me and Ranboo decided we are getting platonically married" said Tubbo. I choked on my spit.

"Come again?" Said wilbur, he stopped playing the guitar in shock.

"Yeah" said Tubbo nonchalant.

"HOW?? You dont just marry random people" said Tommy confused. Niki was stunned.

"You just met Y/n like a week ago and you guys are actually dating. Ive known Ranboo forever and we are platonically getting married.

"I- well congrats?" Said Niki.

"No not congrats. WTF??" Asked Tommy still confused. I laughed.

"Just let them be" I said laughing. Tommy looked at me.

"Whatever" said tommy sighing. I chuckled. Wilbur continued to play the guitar. And the rest of us finished out food.

I called Fiona to come and sit on my lap while we all sat but the campfire and sang songs. I was cuddled up with Tommy. He had an arm around my waist and was holding me.

The sun was still up. Techno had only been gone for about an hour so we didn't really mind.

i guess it was about 12:00 over here.

We chatted and laughed but I heard a rustle in the bushes. I was the only one who could hear it because of my ears.

"Did you hear that?" I asked. Tommy looked at me.

"No?" He said confused.

I heard it again....

The jumped up and turned around to see a man with a loaded bow.
