48: The book

It was pretty early for how long we had been running. Tommy was awake now but was still very groggy. I laughed at him being sleepily when I was the one who was running.

After a while the horses where getting very tired, and so was I.

"Let's take a break!" Said techno stirring the horse to slowly stop it from running. The others did the same. I stopped behind them sluggishly.

"How you holding up?" Said Tommy patting my head. I fell down on my stomach and sighed.

"I'm tired," I said closing my eyes. Tommy chuckled and got off from my back. He grabbed a water bottle and drank a good bit of it. He pushed it towards my face.

"Open up." He said chuckling with the water bottle. I opened my eyes and opened my mouth. He poured it in and I placed nudged Tommy with my paw.

"Thank you Toms" I said, it felt nice being able to relax. Tommy hugged my face which made me chuckle.

"You tired?" Asked Tommy, I nodded.

"Yes, I'm very exhausted." I sighed closing my eyes again.

"Ok I'll let you rest for a bit." He said, he patted my head and went over to the others. I curled up and sighed. I closed my eyes, Tommy noticed and made his way towards me.

"Do you mind?" He asked pointing to the small space where Tommy could lay.

"Come here," I said chuckling. Tommy came over and sat leaning on my stomach. I softly purred and took a quick nap.

Technos POV

I handed the others a bit of food to snack on while we rested. I figured we were very close to the stronghold. Tubbo and Ranboo were chatting while Wilbur played soft tunes with Niki. Niki grabbed the guitar every now and then to sing and play her own songs.

I looked over to Y/n who was asleep, which didn't surprise me. She had been running and fighting a lot these past couple days. It surprised me how well she managed to advance and be able to manage morphing for long periods of time.

I wondered where Tommy was, I walked over to Y/n to see if he was with her. I looked and they both were fast asleep. I chuckled to myself and walked with the others.

"Hey you guys can settle and sit down for now. We will take a bit longer of a break. You need to recharge." I said. They all happily nodded and went back to their conversation.

I went over to my horse and grabbed a shiny brown book. It was my note book I was using to document each and every thing that had happened on this trip.

The cover of the book it had no title but I wanted to give it a title later. I opened it to see the first page. It read.

Day 1,

We had yet to make much progress, it's silent and not much has happened. Hopefully the rest of the trip will run smoothly. But there is something about Y/n.

Although she is new and I've never properly met her something is off about her. She reminds me of someone.... but I won't name who.

The others have been very chatty but I've managed to keep them under control, making sure they wouldn't slit each other's throats........

I turned a couple pages,

Day 4,

Y/n had been shot. Sadly I couldn't help in this situation but she managed to heal quite quickly.

Which was strange, although Niki had informed me of something quite interesting. She noticed 8 black tattoos on her chest.

Each of these were diamond shaped. I was astonished by this, I didn't think she would have these markings. I'm curious about what they mean.

I might have an idea what......

I turned the last couple pages to the day of the almost drowning of Y/n....

Day 13,

We made it to the monument and managed to get out successfully and with the scales.

But sadly in a twist of unfortunate events Y/n had almost drowned. Once again I wondered if those tattoos had something to do with her injuries.

She had managed to recover successfully and the others had small scratches and some had been stabbed but nothing fatal.

The small fox which was named Fiona had grown very fond of me. Which I wasn't great with animals but she was very lovely.

Hopefully nothing more happens, we've already suffered too much loss....

I thought about the last sentence. Jack was a traitor, I didn't want to admit it but I had to hold back anger when I heard the news of Tommy. And luckily I had the totem on me. And luckily is worked.

I wrote into the book...

Day 20,

We've managed to gather all the eyes of ender. We are currently heading towards the stronghold. We stopped for a quick break, hopefully we can get there before sun down...

I closed the book in a panic when tubbo came over.

"What you doing!!?" Asked tubbo happily.

"Nothing, what do you need?" I asked putting the book back in the pack.

"Look what I can do!!" He said going into a box and popping the bottom to spring him up a bit. I chuckled.

"I- no idea what you did but ok," I said nonchalant like usual. He wakes back to the others. I layed back on my horse and closed my eyes for a bit. Letting in all the air and winds and clearing my mind.
