36: I'm glad you're alive

We swam over to the middle of the huge water temple. There was a small hole in the roof but it was fairly a far way up. I saw the huge elder guardian which was set in the middle of this huge room.

The others were trying their best to fight it. Techno's cape was a bit tattered and singed by what I thought was the beam from the guardians. Wilbur was unharmed but I could see he was awfully tired. Along with Tubbo, he was using his shield as best as he could, he had a couple of burns and had a thorn stabbed into his left leg.

I lifted my sword to help the others, everyone did the same. It was much easier to hit the guardian because he had to dodge a lot more people. Ranboo stabbed the guardians side, then techno came up and struck it again. It still hadn't died, it was being difficult.

Tubbo threw his daggers but managed to dodge and reroute them. Tommy stabbed it but it was still moving, I decided to go for the eye.

I ran towards the guardian and lifted my sword. It blew a beam straight at my face, but instead of hurting me it popped the air bubble. We were about 100ft. Under the water, there was no way I could make it. Tommy grabbed me and swam as fast as he could to the top of the water, I started to feel dizzy. And soon enough I blanked.

TOMMY'S POV

I looked over to see Y/n's bubble pop. My eyes widened, I grabbed her and immediately started to swim to the top. We were a fair way down but the only thing that was important was Y/n's safety. I looked over to my side to see Y/n completely blanked out. I swam faster.

I finally made it to the top, I gasped for air, I needed to catch my breath. I swam with Y/n's weak body in my arms towards the ship. I climbed up the side ladder and threw her on the deck. I didn't know what to do. She wasn't waking up, I shook her. I decided to try CPR. I wasn't familiar with it but I had an idea how they did it. I compressed her chest 20 times with my hands. 1...2...3...4...5...6...7... 8...9...10...11...12...13...14...15...16...17...18...19...20. I mumbled under my breath, I blew air into her mouth in hope she would wake up. I repeated these steps. After the third attempted I was already exhausted, but a spill of water came out her mouth and I heard a groan.

"Y/n? ARE YOU AWAKE!!?" I yelled, Y/n slowly opened her eyes. I felt tears start to pool up in my eyes. She opened her eyes completely and looked at me.

"Tommy, what happened?" She asked, I tried to hold back my tears. I placed a hand on her cheek and kissed her. I was so glad she was alive, I didn't know what I would do if I lost her. I kissed her more passionately than ever. Although she tasted like sea water I didn't mind. I pulled away gasping for breath.

"I'm so glad you're alive" I said as she wiped the tears from my eyes and chuckled.

"Can't kill me off that easily" She said I laughed and dug my cheek into her palm. I heard footsteps and looked behind me to see everyone else.

Techno had two scales in his hand, most of them were scratched and burned but they seemed to be ok. I had completely forgotten about the thorns that were embedded in my arm. Niki ran over to Y/n and asked if she was ok.

"Is she ok?!" asked Niki concerned, I nodded and Y/n laughed.

"I'm fine, don't worry Tommy managed to save me" Y/n said, I blushed but tried to hide it.

"I'm so sorry I couldn't repair your bubble-" Y/n stopped Niki by laughing.

"It's not your fault Niki, and I'm fine" said Y/n, she slowly got up and went over to me.

"How did you even save her, it was a long way up" said Wilbur. I blushed remembering how I actually did it.

"CPR" I whispered, Tubbo burst out laughing.

"NO WAY!" said Tubbo laughing so hard he was gasping for air. I glared at him.

"She almost died" I said glaring at Tubbo. Ranboo was trying to hold a laugh while Tubbo was on the floor dying.

"We should get some rest, you guys are probably exhausted" said Techno, Y/n nodded and she made her way to the beds. I followed her.

Y/N'S POV

I made my way to the beds. Although I had tried to hide it I was scared. I could've died back there if it wasn't for Tommy, Tommy followed me into the beds. Everyone had decided to stay up for a bit to eat and so I could get some rest.

Once I made it to the bed I plopped down, Tommy did the same.

¨Hey are you ok?¨ Tommy asked, I wasn't, I could still taste the salt water in my throat and the cold water hot my skin. Although Niki had dried me off I still felt wet.

¨I-I guess I am¨ I said pushing my back against the backboard of the bed and leaning my head against the wall.

¨Hey you can tell me anything¨ said Tommy grabbing my hand. My throat hurt and not from talking but from the sour water.

¨i thought I was dead¨ I said i felt my voice go hoarse. Tommy pulled me into a hug.
I didn't know what to do, all I knew how to do was cry. I nuzzled my face into Tommy's neck and cried.

¨Hey it's ok, Im here¨ said Tommy, i choked back tears, but all I could taste was sea salt.

Tommy lifted my chin. I looked at him with tears pooling in my eyes. I looked into his crystal blue eyes. Tommy leaned in and so did I. And we kissed, I tried to hold back tears but it didn't work. I kissed him like it was the last day of my life. Tommy had one hand on my cheek and he had his wings around my waist. My ears were twitching but I didn't know if it was because of what had just happened or the fire that lit up when I kissed Tommy. I felt my heartbeat quicken. I pulled away panting, my breath was hot and labored.

We put our foreheads together while we tried to catch our breath. Tommy picked up my head again but wiped the tears from my cheek. Tommy smiled at me and kissed my cheek.

¨Thank you Tommy¨ i said, i meant it with all my heart.

¨No problem N/n" said Tommy kissing my nose.
