71: Restaurant visit

Ayy it's been a while since I posted my own art. So here you guys go. And I'm sorry to say. The end is near, it has been a fun journey writing this book and seeing everyone be so excited about the upcoming chapter. But it is true. The book must end at some point. And this may be my last book. I've been fairly busy so I might side track before creating a third book. But for now enjoy the last words of this adventure to a new world. I love you guys.

Tommy's POV

"This one looks great." I pointed to one, it was a simple but beautiful gold ring, painted silver to look better. With a big, but not too big black diamond. It was beautifully molded, and shimmered in the light.

"Glad you like it, but you never answered my question. Whose the lucky lady?" Skeppy said poking my shoulder I rolled my eyes.

"My personal guard, do you know Y/n?" I asked. His eyes widened.

"Wait is she the girl that can morph!!?? Bad told me after talking with techno. But isn't it illegal?" He asked. I shook my head.

"No, I spoke to the king. She's away currently, she wanted to pick out some stuff for the house that's in construction." I said. Skeppy grabbed another case of rings.

"Good for you man. She'll love that one." He said pointing to the one I was holding. I nodded.

After a while of chatting with Skeppy I finally picked out the perfect wedding and engagement rings. I was sure she was going to love it.

I was planning on proposing to her later tonight. But I had to make sure she was free.

I had a reservation at a restaurant and planned to give it to her there.

I went looking for Y/n, and luckily found her pretty easily.

"Hey P/n." I said going over to her and kissed her quickly.

"Hello." She said, she was looking at wallpaper colors.

"How's the house going?" I asked leaning over her shoulder and looking at the various pastels of wallpapers.

"Great, I'm almost done. We just need wallpaper and floor pattern." She said. I nodded and kissed her cheek.

"Are you free later tonight, I booked a reservation at a restaurant that I wanted to take you." I said. She nodded.

"Yup, I should be. You want to help me with the floors. It's your house too you know." She chuckled. I nodded, I tried not to show too much excitement but I was over joyed she was free.

"Will do." I said. I looked over at the wallpapers.

After a while we managed to pick out a good wallpaper that matched the floors.

I walked over to tubbo who was filing something.

"Hey tubzo." I said. He looked up and waved.

"Hello Tommy." He said in his usual meek voice.

"I need to talk to you about something." I said pulling him off the side. He let out a nervous 'ok'.

"Ok so I'm planning on doing something big." I said taking out the black box from my back pocket. His eyes widened.

"HOLY COW!! REALLY??!!" He said, I shushed him.

"Keep it down." I said sternly. He stood up straight and nodded.

"So what do you plan to do?" He whispered.

"We are going to a restaurant later today, and I plan to give it to her there. But I'm nervous." I admitted, although I wasn't even talking to Y/n I was still nervous just talking about it.

"Hey you got this, she'll love it and she'll 100% say yes." Said tubbo putting a hand on my shoulder. I nodded.

"Thanks tubzo." I said with the nickname he wasn't fond of but I didn't listen when he told me to stop.

"No problem Tommy, now go get her!! Tell me how it goes." Said tubbo putting up two thumbs I nodded and walked into the hall and into my room.

I tucked the box in a drawer and got ready for dinner.

I walked over to Y/n's room, she was chilling bobbing to some music from the record player I bought her for our anniversary. She looked over to me and waved.

"Oooo why are you all dressed up?" She asked chuckling. I plopped on the bed next to her.

"The restaurant." I said, she shot up and went to her closet.

"I FORGOT IM SO SORRY. I'll be down in 30 mins." She said in a panic. I chuckled.

"It's ok, take your time." I said kissing her forehead. She chuckled and kissed my nose before walking into the restroom to change.

A little while passes and she walks out, she wore a pretty simple black long sleeved shirt. She also wore tan pants, which were similar to the ones we wore when we went to kill the ender dragon. Her face didn't have much make up, but she never needed it in the first place.

I sat up and extended my elbow to her. She took it and chuckled.

"Someone is being a gentlemen today." She said laughing. I chuckled.

"I just wanted to do something nice for you." I said. She chuckled and leaned her head on my shoulder.

"And I thank you for that." She said, I chuckled and kissed her cheek.

"I'll be right back, I need to get something." I said. She nodded and sat back down on the bed.

I walked over to my room and grabbed the box. And went back to where she sat.

We walked from the castle to the restaurant and sat down. Y/n sat down while I handed the box to the waitress up front.

"She really likes ice cream. So could you deliver it with the ice cream if it's not to much of a hassle." I asked. The women nodded.

"Will do." She said grabbing the box and telling something to another waitress. She nodded to and handed it to the back.

I sat down nervously with Y/n while we looked at the menu.
