"Piero! I just talked to Charlie! Ugh, it was amazing! I played her a song and I think she might have liked it", I screamed, falling into his room. He smiled at me and said: "Of course she liked it! I'm so happy for you!"
After dinner we sat in the living room and talked. Then my phone buzzed and I saw a message from Charlie. I opened it immidiately and read:
"Hey, I just wanted to tell you, I missed talking to you. Thanks for singing to me :)"
I couldn't stop smiling and replied:
"Hey, I missed you too! I'd be glad to do it again."
I looked at the screen, waiting for an answer. "What are you doing?", Ignazio asked me. "Charlie just texted me", I showed them our chat. They smirked at each other and I turned my phone back to see a new message:
"I'll be waiting ;) good night!"
I quickly typed:
"Good night and sweet dreams!"

I sighed.

The short chat with Charlie made me so happy! The next day I was walking around my neighbourhood and spotted a beautiful rosebush. I made a picture and posted it on my story with the caption "Love is the most beautiful feeling in the world". I secretely wished, that Charlie would understand, it was meant for her, but I doubt that she had ever thought of me in a romantic way. But still.
