Chapter 9: You're So Lonely

Rey could only watch as the First Order Star Destroyer disappeared from the atmosphere and was somewhere in the galaxy now. She could've used the force to pull the shuttle back but what had happened the last time with Chewie wasn't going to happen to Alix so that was out of the question.

A few ships landed nearby and she turned to see Poe jump out from his X-wing and ran over to her. She could feel his tension rising and his fear. 

"What happened? Where's Jacob?" He said.

"He ran into the woods with Alix and Tristan and they haven't come back but Kylo took Alix,"she explained, Poe took off running toward the forest with Finn and Rey following behind him.

"Jacob!"

"Tristan!"

"Tristan! Jacob! Where are you guys!?"

There was nothing, not even the sound of a twig snapping or the rustling of leaves. 

"Jacob!" 

"Tristan!"

Jacob and Tristan were still lying flat on their backs but when their names were called again Jacob stirred a bit and carefully sat up wiping the dirt off his head and face. He looked around wondering why he was in the woods again and then it all came back to him.

He gasped, "Tristan!" Tristan screamed when he was woken up.

"What?! What happened?!" He said.

"He took her! He took her she's gone!" Jacob said.

"What! Who?! Who took who again?!"

"Kylo Ren! He took Alix! We have to go get her, quickly come on!" They both got up and ran straight back to the where the battle had taken place and after they ran past a tree Jacob ended up crashing into his dad causing them both to fall on the floor.

Tristan came around and saw what happened, "Uncle Poe?"

"Dad?" Jacob said. "What're you guys doing here?" Rey and Finn came around the corner and Tristan ran over to Finn.

"We came here after we got a distress call about the First Order hitting Takodana, and then afterwards they just left," Poe explained, he rubbed his head and winced when he felt a small bruise had appeared.

"Okay that's hard to make sense of but anyway we have to leave now," Jacob said. 

"Wait! Whoa, where do you think you're going? Why do we need to leave?"

"We have to go save Alix, Kylo Ren took her but she actually surrendered herself to him."

"She what? Why?!" Rey asked.

"She was trying to protect us while we were trying to protect her, but Kylo almost killed me and she sacrificed herself instead and then everything just went dark."

"Well then we have to go back to the base and track down the Supreme Leader's ship," Finn said.

"Good idea," Poe said.

"How long will that take?" Tristan asked.

"Not too long, we'll be able to find them in a few hours."

"A few hours?!" They both said. "What do we do then?!"

"We just need to be patient," Finn said. 

"We can't be patient at a crisis like this!" Jacob said. "Who knows what he could be doing to her!"

Alix was left in a cell which had her tied down to an interrogation chair, her ankles were shackled and her hands were covered up in shackles. She knew that the best way not to die was to just play along with them and that is exactly what she did.
