Chapter 12: War Has Just Begun

Never in a million years would anyone have thought that there life would once again turn into something like this. Who would've thought that the war would start all over again? No one would've thought it would happen, sadly it did.

Alix was still unconscious but she slowly stirred, her head was pounding, her chest hurt, her vision was a little blurry but when she came into clear view she was surprised to see Wookiees standing over her. She screamed and they growled at her and left her medical room. She sat up but wasn't able to keep her balance. 

"God my head," she winced. She tried standing up but her head was spinning she couldn't keep her balance and she fell over.

"Alix." She looked to who said her name and saw Rey and BB-8 enter. "I'm glad you're awake. How do you feel?"

"My head hurts and my mouth taste like bantha liver gross."

"Well you were out for three days."

"Three days?! Wait, where are we? Why are we not on the cruiser? Why was I surrounded by Wookiees?"

"Slow down, we had to outrun the First Order and we needed to find a new base so we are on Kashyykk, that's why there were Wookiees everywhere."

"Where is everyone?" She asked.

"They're outside but before you see everyone I need to ask you," she raised her hand and showed her the tattoo. "Some questions." Alix laughed nervously and pulled her hand away. "How did you get this?" Then she pointed at her cheek. "And this?" Lastly she pulled up her crystal from her neck. "And this?"

"It's a long story," she said.

"I've been on Jakku for 15 years I think I can handle a really long story."

She sighed, "Okay well, when we first went to Tehar for that mission I followed a presence toward this cave and I found this crystal at the end, I grabbed it and then woosh I was thrown through the air and the crystal was in my hand. When we left Eadu I tried taking it off but now it's apart of me which sounds really creepy."

"Then when I was stuck on Endor with Kylo things happened."

"What things?" Rey asked.

"Well I got this tattoo just out of  nowhere and then scary things happened. I had a vision that I killed everyone and I was scared that I was going to turn to the dark side which is actually how I got this," she touched her bandaged cheek. "Strangely Kylo made me feel...better. He was gentle and soft. He didn't seem scary. But I just want to know one thing?"

"What?"

"He told me that he knew dad because he was once a Knight of Ren, but he also mentioned that he turned to the light side and that you fell in love with dad but you also tired to help Ren. He mentioned that he became jealous when you chose dad over him. Is that true?"

Rey looked at her carefully, she knew she couldn't lie to her, "Yes. I thought Kylo could change he killed Snoke and saved my life, but I realized that not everyone can change until I met Ben Solo. That was someone who chose to turn. I believed in him with all my heart and that's why you're here. Because I fell in love with him."

"Don't get all mushy on me mom," Alix said.

Rey laughed, "Don't worry. Kylo isn't going to be bothering us anymore. I can promise you that." Alix's mailed slightly and rested her head on her mom's shoulder. 

"Beep, beop."

"Of course I missed you," Alix said. "Don't tell anyone but you're my favorite droid." BB-8 got excited and spun around on the ground. Alix laughed and Ben carefully stood up. "Can I see Tristan and Jacob?"
