Rey stopped in her tracks, she could sense something was off, but even worse she could sense something that would soon be revealed, something that Alix would never forgive her about.

"Rey, are you all right?" Jacob asked.

"I'm fine, we have to keep going, quickly."

Alix struck at him again and he blocked her and pushed himself back. She lunged at him again. He wasn't sure if it was her or the planet but he could feel all this heat forming inside of Alix. He could sense her anger, and she had a lot of anger. They were both sweating pretty bad especially Alix she was dripping wet and covered in more grime.

"Alix!"

"Alix!" Rey and Jacob had finally made it to the very top of the palace and managed to follow after Alix. "Alix! Stop! He's not worth it!" She didn't pay any attention to him and continued fighting. "She's not listening, how are we going to get her attention?"

"I got this, I would plant your feet firmly if I were you," she said. She waited for the right moment and when she finally saw that they were about to lunge at each other again she slammed her fist onto the palace stones and the entire thing shook and a huge wave was sent through the air knocking Ren on his feet and throwing Alix back to them.

"Alix, are you okay?" Jacob asked.

"Jacob? What're you doing here?"

"Came to get you dummy, let's go! Where's Ren?"

"Oh you mean my monster of a father? Uh, he's somewhere," she said.

"Watch out!" Rey cried. Alix looked up and was fast to block his surprise attack and pushed him back. Jacob and Rey stood back but Jacob refused to leave his friend this time. She struck at him but he pushed her back blindingly and before he could attack again Jacob pushed Alix to the side of the palace knocking her over but sadly Kylo struck at him and he fell to the ground screaming.

"Jacob!" Rey screamed. Jacob covered his eyes and screamed, his vision was dark and red and his face burned. Alix stared over at Jacob and saw him clutching at his eyes. She looked over at Kylo and saw only horror in his eyes, but her vision was blinded by hate. She screamed and lunged at him one last time, she refused to listen to anyone anymore, she didn't care if she would kill him, she didn't care if she broke the Jedi code, she didn't care anymore.

He tried striking at her but she guided his saber toward the ground and she pushed him aside and jumped backward through the air. When she landed he advanced on her and she waited for his attack, he struck at her again but she ducked and she did the one thing that was too impossible even for her. He thought she had frozen his saber but when they both looked she was holding his saber, with her bare hands.

She let go and struck again but when she was about to hit him he froze her saber but she pulled away quickly and they attacked again but then that's when things started to change. She stopped fighting, her muscles were weak, her vision was blurry, her head was pounding and she could barely feel her leg muscles. She tried attacking again but she was just too tired, he pushed her to the side and struck at her over and over.

She couldn't even feel her knees anymore. They buckled on her and she fell to the ground, she didn't want to continue but at this point she really didn't have a choice. She was too weak. That's when the crystal changed her life forever. It glowed so bright that she felt this surge pulsing through her veins, her heart began pumping rapidly, her muscles tensed, her vision became sharp and her mind was clear.

She kicked him from under his feet causing him to buckle on his knees, threw his saber to the side and finally gained the high ground. She had her saber pointed directly at his face and her knee was resting on his chest. Alix wasn't there anymore, what he saw was a monster.

"Alix." When he said her name she received memories, memories that she was never meant to see. She pushed herself off of him and tried to close these memories off but her mind played it over and over until she submitted to them, and she heard everything.

"Enough Ben! I can't do this with you anymore, it's over!" Rey said. "I-I don't think Alix is even safe around your anymore," she said.

"What're you saying?" Ben asked.

"I want you to leave Ben, just go. And don't ever come back. She won't be your daughter anymore. You will never see her again."

Alix finally came to and she felt all this horror and great sadness just wash all over her. It wasn't his choice, because he didn't have a choice. It was her, she made him leave. Rey made him leave. It was all her fault. Alix felt her tears drip onto her cheeks, she looked over at Kylo who was still on the ground in complete shock. She walked over to him and bent down to his level. He didn't look at her.

"I didn't need a Jedi master, or Kylo Ren. All I wanted was my dad. You all lied to me, and she's not the only one to blame for the lies," she said. "You did have a choice and you chose to be afraid of her than be with your own family." He looked her in the eyes and still hadn't said a word.

She got up and started running but she ran down to his shuttle, she wanted to escape, fast and far. Rey noticed her leaving and didn't stop her, she had Jacob in her arms and she saw the Falcon heading right toward them. She felt guilt forming in her chest. Alix knew everything now. She knew the truth. Was this how it was going to be from now on? As soon as the Falcon landed on the ground, Rey ran down carrying Jacob.

"Here Chewie, he's in pretty bad shape but he'll be alright," she handed him to Chewie's arms and was about to board when she looked back at Kylo.
