Alix always believed that in dreams you could feel everything in a dream using your five senses: taste, hearing, smell, sight, sound, and touch, they also said you couldn't feel any pain in a dream because it was just a dream. She always thought that was just bullshit because she seemed to be the only one who could feel physical pain in any of her dreams. Turns out she was right.

Walking in a dark void wasn't too new for her, but this place seemed very familiar. Or at least she knew where she was. Every step she took was very quiet there was no sound not even the sound of bugs. She also noticed that she was following down a large hallway but it was also pretty tight. She noticed a small light coming from outside by the end of the hallway and she and ever way through. Once she made it out of the exit she looked around and was in complete shock.

All around it was dark, and it was in ruins. She walked around and started noticing weird statues but when she looked closer she also noticed that there was something familiar about these statues. The strange thing was that they were all in a battle stance. She crept deeper into the void when she heard something click under her feet. She looked down  and picked up the object which revealed itself to be a saber.

When she turned it on it glowed red but then it flickered and it went out, she dropped it back on the ground and noticed that there were a whole bunch of lightsabers scattered all over the ground, there was something strange about this place she just didn't know what it was. Then she heard something. It sounded like something was heading her way.

The sound started getting closer and closer, she ignited her saber and looked all around towhee the sound might be coming from. There was no one there and once the noise ceased she could feel another presence, a cold presence. A dark presence.

"There's no need for that," a voice said. Alix pointed her saber in the direction of the voice but she couldn't really see who was there. "Drop your weapon."

"What'll you do if I don't?" She said.

"Fine have it your way," in an instant her saber shot out from her hands and landed into the strangers. "Hmm. Excellent use of craftsmanship. It seems you've given your saber more detail than any other Jedi could."

She didn't say anything except stare at the stranger, "Who are you?"

He chuckled, "How rude of me I completely forgot about introducing myself." She only gave him a glare. "But if you really want to know, I...am Maul."

"Darth Maul?"

"I was Darth Maul, but now I'm just Maul. I'm sure you've already heard many stories and legends about me and my time during the Clone Wars?" He asked.

"I learned about you myself from old books and texts. They said you served under Darth Sidious."

"Sidious? Now that's a name I haven't heard in years. I was his apprentice, but after I was struck down by Obi-Wan Kenobi," his voice had hate when he said that name. "He was quick to replace me. I soon realized I didn't need him to become powerful, but I also realized he took everything from me."

"What did he take?" She asked. He walked over to her and was revealed. She couldn't help but stare at his horns protruding from his head and the tattoos all over his body.

"He took me from my family as a young boy, taught me discipline and training was brutal, he took away my brother. When I went back to Dathomir, Mother Talzin restored my insanity and made me realize that he betrayed me and left me for dead. In that very moment I wanted my revenge."

"But you didn't. You died in Obi-Wan's arms when you fought him for the last time," she said.

"I accepted my fate. After that I wandered through the force waiting for Sidious to come to an end and I believed he did when your great-grandfather Anakin Skywalker killed him, but when the First Order started its new reign I realized that he was not yet gone. That is until your mother came along and your father."
